  1. i would suggest a football head however you should not leave everything on the bait. it is also a matter of presentation. Usually when you hop the bait instead of draging it is far more better..
  2. Nice fish and well done for c&r 8-) 8-)
  3. Yes it is. It was 84lbs. 12oz. Have look at this huge carp from Thailand. (Thailand is alot warmer then California ) Unbelievable :o
  4. tandem terminator chart/white spinnerbait ,size 1/2
  5. Thanks you all 8-) Anyone owns the specific model(7" MH Xfast)?
  6. Here you go. It will be a little tight. thanks for the pics, now i know 8-)
  7. I have just received a 7" xfast of this model. Looks like a heavy duty rod. Which are the best presentations/lures to use this rod? I'm planning to use it for big spinnerbaits&lipless (over 1/2oz), fishing plastics with texas method as well as senkos/ikas. Thanks
  8. I bought one from ebay last year. Did not catch any on it but the action is great. Topwater bite in my country last season was not so good.
  9. Try Falcon hooks
  10. Agree on the negative. Suggest you buy some original senkos
  11. Ecogear Rock Claw. How's the fishing? The situation in Cyprus at the moment is dramatic. We had no rain yet in January and the dams' level remain low. I do not know how this will end up but we pray for rain in February otherwise it will be a complete disaster ;). For the moment we do fish trout. We have a good population of rainbow and brown trout in some small dams up to the mountains. Dams were stocked two year ago for the first time in Cyprus with brown trout. This fish is new for us but it is without any doubt a chalenge. time 2 find a new hobby my friend i m thinking of visiting a psychologist from now on Think positive my friend. We just have to realize that this is Cyprus and adjust accordingly. Pray for us dear members :(

  13. Terminator by far 8-)
  14. Nice fish and nice creuture bait ? What is it?
  15. Agree however you need to have the mag brake to the minimum wheh you will first set your spool tension knob
  16. I prefer weighted hooks. The presentation is totally different than using a jig and far more productive
  17. What trout spinners/spoons will you reccomend for spinning in a reservoir with clear water?

    ;D ;D Nice fish/turtle Avid ;D
  19. I don't own either of these rods in question, but I have checked them out. The XF is nothing compared to a "flippin' stick". I think it's a bit soft for a XF action and would not buy this rod to fish jigs with. No way. It's got the power, but I don't like the tip action....too soft for me and jigs, might be ok with worms though. However, I tend to like a stiffer tip then most guys so you may like it. Compre rods, in general, tend to have softer tips then the Crucials do. I much prefer the Crucial line of rods within the Shimano brand. Thanks Jeff H , this helps a lot. I will not use the rod for heavy jiging anyway so i will go for the XF
