I use colorado black or dark blue blades,size 4 or 5 , for night ,early morning and late afternoon fishing. Skirt is always black or blue/black. Use some rattles as well and work them slowly

Many thanks to all of you. I used palomat knot with the same line last weekend and had no problems whatsoever. of course , the bass i cought were aroung 2lbs each

Thank you all guys. Apreciate your comments on the knot(palomar knot) , will you reccomend it for spinnerbaits as well? Both bass(?) strike on 3/4 spinnerbaits. What do you think about berkley braid knot, it looks "stronger". There is though a possibility that the first one,which i didn't see was one of the monster pikeperchs which there are alot in this reservoir.

Lost two over 5lb today. I lost another big bass before having the power pro line broken when bass strikes :-/. No chance to react at all!! I use the Clinch Knot. What do you think is the problem??

I prefer early morning except from pre-spawing season. The water is getting warmer in the afternoon and this can make the diference especially for bank fishermen.

you should try shady places first but i noticed in windy days bass can be cought in sunny places as well

I agree with Aint Texan about location. I fish from shore all year, and the places that I catch most of my fish sound exactly like the spot that he just described. When it comes to baits, I believe that I would have to know more about the types of small fish and forage that exist in the area. (size, color, profile, etc.) Though I think Mepps in line spinners would be a great place to start. Welcome aboard!!! I'M FROM CYPRUS WHERE WE ARE FISHING LARGEMOUTH BASS IN RESERVOIRS ONLY. THE MOST IMPORTAND THOUGH IS THAT IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO FISH FROM A BOAT. IN MOST OF THE RESERVOIRS THE WATER IS STAINED. MAX WEIGHT OF LARGEMOUTH BASS COUGHT IN CYPRUS WAS AROUNG 4KGS. I WOULD LIKE TO EXCHANGE MY EXPERIENCE FOR FISHING BASS FROM THE BANK AND ALSO TO GET SOME TIPS FROM MORE EXPERIENCED FISHERMEN.
