Another 4 1/2lb... Where are the big ones????
Specifically for this reservoir , there is only one river flowing in but unfortunately the water there is very shallow(less than 3 ft) and the bottom is muddy with no rocks or any kind of structure hence it is highly unlikev to find bass spawing there. Cybasser might known better than me, of course. He is fishing this reservoir for many, many years!!

Power Pro Phantom Red
I've been using Power pro Hi vis,Low Vis a year now with great success. I'm thinking to try the phantom red as well but my concern is that it will be visible especially in clear, clear to stained water. This is a statement from company's president: "According to company president, Konrad Krauland, I've often heard it said that the colors and finishes on lures are designed to catch fishermen. But PowerPro's Phantom Red Line is designed to catch fish. Next to our product statement rounder, smoother, thinner, stronger, we can now add nearly invisible in water. To understand the benefit of Phantom Red, one must understand the behavior of light as it penetrates the water, because line colors do not look the same underwater as they do in air. As line descends below the surface, water absorbs the wavelengths of light selectively, one by one, as depth increases. Red is the first color to disappear, at a depth of 15 feet (which is why underwater photographers often use red filters to restore red colors in their pictures). " Do y agree? Any experience with this product? Thanks

Any advise on how/where/when to use the Yum Sooie? The tube/creature combination looks promising. Thanks

Whats your most productive prespawn lures?
Spinnerbait is my goto lure for pre-spawn ,but if you have stable weather for a couble of days and the water dep is over 55degrees then a white/chart buzzbait is a killer
