big bites bait company herd of them
They sell them at Academy here! Their Senko is great to me, I like the leighter weight of it, it falls slower and I catch more fish on their watermelon red than I do on Yammys! I like their brush hogg knock off as well becasue you can get a pumpkin seed with a chart tail, I donthave to dip em. I tihnk they are good baits and what a good price Im in Danny

Your one best technique
c rig lizard for me, i can catch them on this ive been getting better with a weightless senko 3rd would be a baby bass colored crankbait

More Important to rig? Rod or Reel?
Do like I do and get good used stuf here on the classys, then you can have the best of both worlds! Good equipment at a good price and its just a little broke in I bought a Diawa Tough and Lite flippin stick for $75 shipped and its nearly brand new never used, not a mark on it, it would cost you 150 shipped from BPS Now Im searching out a reel to go with it and Ive had several $200 reels offered to me for $100. Hope this helps Danny

Carolina Rigs
Man thats my got to presentation when I cant get a bite power fishing. Its probably my favorite slower presentation except the weightless senko Here is what I do. I use a Lindys No Snagg slip sinker so my weight dont get hung up on our craggy bottoms here in TX, then a glass bead, then a Carolina Keeper instead of a swivel so I can make my leader longer or shorter without having to retie then a Betts carolina floater to keep my worm floating above the bottom (especially if its not a floating style soft bait or if Im using a heavy hook) I peg the floater also so it stays in place. then I like to use a Lizard or a Zellmander. Bass hate salamanders, they are a big nuisance to bass and they will kill them just to kill then, so sometimes youll get a strike that they sucked it in, killed the lizard and let it back out, so its usually a pretty good strike on a lizard but it may only be that one time so be ready!!!! Hope this helps. Here are some links at BPS to the stuff Im talking about. http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=28538&hvarSearchValue2=444&hvarSearchValue3=042&hvarSearchValue4=00&hvarTarget=search&AFID=&sourceid=&cmCat=SEARCHRESULTS http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=20867&hvarSearchValue2=475&hvarSearchValue3=832&hvarSearchValue4=08&hvarTarget=search&AFID=&sourceid=&cmCat=SEARCHRESULTS http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=23166&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults Thanks Danny PS I like to use Flourocarbon line and I use a 7' American Rodsmiths Carolina Special on a Diawa Regal spinning reel.

I need a line for topwaters and big spinnerbaits?
What line guys, I fish lakes with ultra clear water or I would use briad buts its not really a good option where I fish. Im thinking Gamma Copolymer, Yo Zuri hybrid? WHat else, I would like something with good knot strength and low memory. Whats a good option for me guys. By the way Ill be fishing all my topwater frogs and sammys on this as well as bigger spinner baits on this baitcaster rod and reel. Danny

American Rodsmiths
I use the Fritts crankbait rods too and love them! I also have a 7 foot medium Carolina rod on my diawa spinning reel and love it!!! I really like ARs products and plan on using more of them in the future, if you can pry my Tough and Lits outta my hands, LOL Danny

Looking for a "Burner" reel, which one???
Im thinking hard on a burner reel for flipping and pitching, Ive pretty much narrowed it down to 2 reels but if you suggest something different, Im all ears Im thinking the Revo SXHS or the Pflueger Summit LP. Im really leaning towards the Summit. Tell me what you think, any experiance you have with these reels. Thanks

I just bought a 5:1.1 from 5basslimit Glad he likes it. I still need a deep cranking reel and rod as I fish as much 15 to 18 foot hydrilla beds as I can find at Amistad. Danny

Whats a good crank bait reel?
Im looking for a crank bait setup. Whats a good reel with a lower gear ratio. Im thinking of a round baitcaster or a low profile but most of them seem to be faster on the retrieve. What do you like to use. Danny

Ike has been offered new Boat deal....
Personally Im hoping he signs on with Bass Cat Boats, I love my Cat and I love Ike so that would be awesome for me to get to see some logos besides Ranger and Triton all the time. I love BCB and they have awesome customer service and I think Mike would help them reach a little younger crowd as well. JMHO Danny

TTT as a Co Angler??? Should I?
Ive never fished in a tournament before but Im very interested in seeing how it goes down! Should I fish the Texas Tournament Trail as a co angler on Lake Amistad in January? Ive fished Amistad quite a bit and thats the lake Ive caught my biggest fish in. Will I look like a fool if I signed up or would it be a good learning experiance. I dont expect anything to happen I just want to learn more about tourney fishing and I figure why not learn from a serious type of setting. Please offer advice!!! DannyG
