Good frogs
I love Stanley ribbit frogs and keitech noise flapper for soft body frogs. For hollow belly I like the small size livetarget field mouse. Although not a frog it walks better and has a great hookup ratio and is very weedless.

Which top water should I start with Friday?
Live target mouse was my favorite last year and I was fishing tiny bass in CT. So fun and super easy to walk with the small size. That or a ribbit frog or a keitech frog are my favorites and all are really weedless.

Getting Discouraged
I've been out 2 dozen times in CT and cuaght 2 baby bass. Quarter pounder with cheese size. All winter long I studied and read the forums, I buy a aprox 4 bags of lures a week off ebay. Just make sure your not like me sometimes and get too antcy. I look at this super cool new lure I have and think it's going to slay the bass. Three casts in I'm so impatient I want to change the lure. Don't expect to catch fish but be confident. It's a hard balance. I often catch fish when looking away or when I least expect it. Also the days when u catch a lot aren't as amazing with out the reference of the skunk days.

Rubber Lures
Thanks ya that's what I do know I lay out my finesse worms laying on their flat side and lay them straight on the my fishing gear table. Also just got some zman speed craw and some had one claw folded over so I layer them out. Really pumped to use zman this year if the fish in CT ever drink their coffee and wake up.

Rubber Lures
In my anti gravity storage device. That way nothing is ever bent or kinked and everything floats around perfectly straight as the day it was poured. For real tho almost everything is in original package. I'll take one or two out to pre rig on a hook or jig so I don't have to worry about lining it up straight on the hook while I'm on the water. I've heard guys will boil lures for like 10 seconds to fix any plastics that bend inside the bag. Is there any brand that can't be fixed this way like zman or other soft reactive brands? Also look in the next page or two on the tackle thread this is asked every other week and there's alot more answers.

What are the best websites?
Ebay, another site . Com and TW all work for me but I'm always window shopping so interested in what people say.

How do you attach crank baits?
Tie to the split rig But do you guys tie a loop knot or a tight knot? Can that be another choice? On jerk baits and frogs I tend to use the loop knot but cranks just a palomar or regular clinch knot.

Soft Swimbaits
I live in CT where bass don't grow that big. My favorite bait last year (first year I knew it existed) was the keitech 3.8 swing impact fat. We don't have shad where I fish but a lot of baby perch. The male perch color is fantastic for pike and bass. I also like the bluegill flash and the sun gill color in 3.8 and 4.3 inch. I rig it on a 3/0 to 5/0 Gamakatzu keel weighted spring lock hook. If you don't rig it on a Owner or Berkeley 19 fusion or similar brand SPRING lock hook the lure will rip. Used this setup 75% of 2015. I just got a savage gear Line Tru trout 6" in Baby Bass. This thing looks so legit and can't wait to try it out. It seems huge but then I see guys on this site using twice as big. Also got the Zman grass swimmerz coming in the mail and looking forward to the strike king version.

Favorite top water for largemouth?
Used to be just Stanley ribbit frogs but last year I swore I would try and learn hollow belly. And although I don't have the hookup ratio with all brands of frogs the live target feild mouse slayed fish for me last year. The small size is the easiest hollow body to walk the dog. Can't wait to try my new sunfish by livetarget. Last year the kietech noise flapper frog also was another thing I threw that looked really cool in the water and will be adding as a change up to the ribbit frogs.

Topwater Frog Color
Its really hard to find a dark brown belly frog or anything other than white. All of the cool colors I picked out all have white bellies so IMO It matters where you cast, hook set discipline and your presentation more than the color.

Best Senko Colors
junebug, bama bug, black blue, baby bass, and a perch like color like orange and pink swirl (we call it creamsicle) and sweat potato pie (orange, yellow, red, black swirl)

Trigger x
I used to love the trigger X big moe. It was a lizard with wide legs and tail. Think extra wide egg noodles lol. I used to think hey they have fish pheromones then they must be cutting edge and one of the top tier brands. I remember maybe a year ago trying to find their jerk type lure but never got them. Now my last few packs of lizards I will use wisely.

Good artificial live bait?
Gulp earthworms work good too if u don't want to buy and refrigerate worms often. A little jar of those or the lil fry minnows will work great for sunnies or crappies. I use a weighted bobber to cast further and into the wind and a long shank but small hook like an alberdeen so they don't get gut hooked. You can store those little jars in your tackle box.

Trokar Drop Shot Hook Size
4 is the smallest size I use the size 1.

Swimbait hooks
I would normally say and use Gama 3/0-5/0 twistlock ewg weighted hook but thanks Mike L for reminding me about Owner keel weighted with centering pin. They will definitely go into the nose better and are almost always straight. I also just got a pack of the Berkeley fusion 19 or whatever their new hook line up is . It cam in this nice lil clamshell package that was labeled which I thought was nice of them to include for my convenience.

Keitech swimbaits storage
I have alot pre rerigged and the tails normally are fine in my tackle box. I also know what you mean as the clamshell aren't "stackable" and take up a lot of cubic inches of much needed space. First I will take an old package and put 5 different 3.8 fat colors in one box and then have a pack or two of my fav colors. Or for the over the shoulder strap bag I use when walking I actually cut a pack in half with a box cutter to save space and have a couple spares thay won't bend out of shape. I guess in both cases I didn't really bring the most I could but I did save space, have what I need, and can restock it.

How to rig Keitech Swing Impact Fat
Exactly what ChrisD46 said. Like, I could copy and paste it. 3/0 twist lock Gama 1/8th or 1/16 on the 3.8s or 4.3s. Love the male perch, sungill, or bluegill flash colors. If your not using a twist lock and just a regular EWG it's going to rip. I fish in too much structure and weeds to use the open jig head 95% of the time.

Keitech Swing Impact / Fat -- ElaZtech version?
You have a good idea but its already kinda dumb that a lot of companys copy each other so much. Ive seen keitech knock offs that are identical and even have the flat square belly and are symetrical. They cant duplicate the soft or weak as you mught put it, recipie for the rubber concoction they use. Kietech with a spring lock will last alot longer than any senko. Idk I've caught pike off a kietech and still used them a week later and cight bass off them. I know they are softer plastic but i dont care. GO to z man's website. They have alot of different swim baits and I will use them this year too as I've bought the paddlerZ and deseil minnowz but absolutely nothing will work at super super slow speeds like a keitech. Any species of fish will follow a keitech its weird but it would be boring to fish that all year long. Your question is silly. It's like asking if we can put rage tails on a Gary product. They are two different brands and have differences. I just got a pack of razor shadz which look like they could be way better than any fluke type bait I have but that doesn't mean I won't use zoom or bass assassin flukes and I always have and love them too. Football and soccer feilds use grass even though it gets ruined quickly. Yes they can go to turf and it will last forever but sometimes teams like tradition and don't mind replacing the grass every year for any number of reasons.

Im not understanding frog colors
I love how some company's offer such cool colors and they will have 28 choices but every belly is white. Shouldn't that cool paint job also be on the side that the fish see? I also think that if the sky is white with clouds I would want a dark brown bottom to contrast it but my dark brown frog has a white belly!!

Not like this!
I just don't prefer to use them. I didn't use them at all last year and it really helped me learn other techniques like the hollow body frog that I previously had no confidence in.

Not like this!
So maybe after my 6th time out in central Connecticut this year me my dad and my dads best friend took the canoe out on a small lake. My dad won't fish and just loves to paddle and watch but this friend is a rookie and fished with me maybe 3 times befor. We used xraps, curly tail worms, flukes, and keitechs. My dads friend caught 3 off white kietech easy shiner in white sight flash with a 3/0 1/16th Kell weighted spring lock GAMA hook. I threw everything and they continued to talk smack to me : ). Even practiced with my new livetarget sunfish. I caught one quarter pounder with cheese off of all things a GYCB senko watermelon green chartreuse tip. I boycotted dingers /senkos of all types last year and usually hate Gary but my friend left a full pack in my boat . Sorry of the rant. Ever had a bad day and only hooked up with fish using something you hate, or are usually too stubborn to use?

Storing Pre-rigged Soft Plastics?
Maybe get those cd case bibder packs. I also pre rig some of my lures. I fish a lot of timber so if I get any nicks in the line I retie or change so much that it's some time quicker. Especially when you need to rig your soft plastic perfectly straight.

Flukes
I really like the action and durability of bass assasin flukes or the ones with just the single thin tail. They come in some crazy colors but are an older company and are hard to find unless online threw their website or tw.h or ebay. I like disco violet, baby bass, and the white colors. Lately I've been searching for a color that resembles perch, the main forage for my CT ponds.

Worn out plastics ( senkos )
Pretty sure Maine is trying or already did ban soft plastics that don't biodegrade like gulp or zman. After the winter on clear lakes you will see senkos get huge an expand after freezing. The one bass I cleaned in the last few years did have a senko in its stomach. Now I use a twist lock on almost all my lures. Keeps them on the hook to use again for another cast and out of the fish's belly.
