I will NEVER get another quantum. The last one I got literally fell apart within within 2 weeks. I say stick with the garcias all the way. I've never had trouble with an Abu Garcia.

Winchester actually closed it's last U.S. plant a few months ago so if you have a U.S. made winchester take really good care of it.

I would NEVER use it for bass. Especially if I was in a tournament. I might use it for brim or trout or other small fish but never bass.

I love to power finnese fish. When I do that I'll swim a small jig or fish a shakey worm fast.
