  1. Don't mean to hijack the thread or anything, but what if you throw 20-30 mph winds into it? Do you go way back into coves where it's calm, or what? I have this problem all of the time.
  2. Anyone fishing it this year? Just registered and we're boat 164
  3. Keep us updated please! I've always wanted to go there, but just can't seem to pull the trigger.
  4. Thanks for the pm's guys. It really is a shame. This is what I received in an pm. Pretty much tells the whole story. http://www.myfoxdfw.com/dpp/news/man-accused-of-swapping-price-tags
  5. Can someone fill me in on what happened? It can be in pm if you'd like. He actually was a huge help to me a few times, so I'm curious.
  6. Same here with Tru-Tungsten. But then they changed their pro-staff structure and I didn't quite agree with it, so we parted. Like you said, it IS possible.
  7. Why do you want to get sponsored?
  8. It happens to me all the time in the summer when I'm throwing crank baits, especially on Table Rock. I caught these 2 a few years back, and oh what a surprise that was.
  9. Why change brands? You've already experienced the best in sunglasses, why would you settle for anything less?
  10. Latest info I've got is about a week old. A team won a tournament fishing shallow diving cranks in the early morning and then once the sun got high, moving to sharp drops fishing 11" worms in 10-14 feet of water. They caught something like 17 keepers.
  11. Only thing I have is when I'm pitching a lure and knock the reel handle, engaging the reel and then my jig swings around and hits me in my head.
  12. I sent you a PM
  13. Ok cool guys, thanks! Catt, if you don't mind measking, why do you enjoy the pre-fishin'g part of it more than the actual tournament? Less of a crowd?
  14. Has anyone ever attended a PAA tournament? I plan on going to one in October, and was wanting to know what I should expect. Would it be similar to attending a Bassmaster event?
  15. In a kayak too! God, I bet that was one heck of a fight...
  16. Either here at Bass Resource or Youtube sometimes has some good ones.
  17. Honestly, I usually only catch them on crankbaits. This one time though, I flipped a jig up to a laydown and pulled out a 3 pound flathead.
  18. Try a frog worked over everything. With the exception to a jig, this is the most productive technique on my lakes when the water is high.
  19. Good god. I feel sorry for your future children.
  20. Good ole Chartreuse and White.
  21. Thank you for your feedback guys. Now on the Flip camera, is it capable to upload and edit your recordings? I don't see why it wouldn't be able to, but I figure I'll ask because that is the main reason I'm getting a camera to begin with.
  22. A good ole Pro-Craft Fish n Ski. It was pretty embarrassing when you had these 21 foot beauties flyin by you, but I managed to do some damage in that boat.
  23. I dont know if they sell them at dicks, but I started using the the older version of the Citica. It was a solid reel to start out with. Still use the same one to this day.
  24. I really like them. Epically when I am fishing flooded grass or other kinds of flooded cover. They can be a great fish catcher, theres no denying that.
