all righty..i was cleaning out my fishing corner (in the garage) today and was going through an old box full of line spools...well i got to the bottom of it and long behold a brand new pack of senkos in a dark brown (almost black) with purple flakes...well i dug a little deeper and found some new 5" swim baits in a wildeye shad color....my question is: i would like to use these before the season and this weekend might be my last outing...i am fishing a mini tournment..the lake is about 55 degrees, stained (almmost muddy), with alot of stick ups....do you think i should use these 2 lures this time of the year?

well this happend about 2 months ago and i have been meaning to fix it---- I had just got back from table rock lake and had the boat in the garage with all my rods under the cover...well stupid me , i was going to go bank fishing on this small lake so i just wanted to grab my one rod...well i was too lazy and i just lifted up the really tight cover...i had my pole in my hand and all of a sudden..."SNAP!!" the tip had got cought on the cover some how. So my question is : Does any one know a little rod repair kit that i could buy...or if any body had one that was want to sell it...Thanks Craig

yeah its 10 pound line...they have the four pound for crappie....but why would anyone use 10 pound line for crappie??

All right heres what i am wondering... I got a free (new) spool of Wally Marshall line (yellowish/greenish) from a buddy. i have never used this line and i am going on a fishing trip this weekend and plan on fishing jigs....what my question is, is should i try this color on a jig or can it be spotted by bass?? even if you havent used this brand, what would you do.....use it or stick with the clear stuff? thanks you guys!

i do both if it is clear, i usually go for light colors....but if it looks good, i usually get it.

i am getting a new combo for christmas (hopefully) and plan on practicing all winter untill the lake unfreezes

well its a man made lake and there were no crawfish stocked (if thats what you want to call it).. i suppose IF there are any in there, they were probably dumped bait that reproduced....but no one on the lake has ever seen them and i live on the lake and i have never seen them so....

All right heres the deal. Can i fish a jig (jiging it off the bottom) when there are absolutly no craw fish in this lake?
