  1. I guess its to make them look a little better. :-? Where did "shimano" come up with the name "Shimano"?
  2. I have a question regarding the BPS Tourney Special rods. They look like a good rod, what I was wanting to know is are they quality rods (for the price)? And if anybody has used them, can you give me some feedback? Thanks a bunch.
  3. Take a look at Michael Jordon. Why do they call it "tug of war"? Shouldn't it be called "War of Tug"?
  4. Yeah, I think I will stick with the 1/4, thanks
  5. Hey all, I was going through some rod company's, and I found a nice deal. I am wanting a rod for casting plastics, but the rod is "3/8-1 oz" would that be good, or shoud I stick with 1/4 - 5-8?
  6. I have a few: What is your favorite lure and presentation for clear water? In a stained shallow and fairly small lake (deepest being 32 feet, has a 100 yrd. rock dam, not too much cover, and about 100 boat docks) which part of this lake would you target for the biggest bass? those are all I can think of right now, but I may come up with some more.
  7. Get the citica combo, It was the first baitcaster I used and It was VERY easy to learn. I got the 7' rod with it.
  8. maybe next year brady! YEAH!!!
  9. For shakey head, I love using any of Webbs Baits ( www.webbsbaits.com) worms, They are fantastic, and have AMAZING action.
  10. All right guys. Thanks for all the help. I have an Idea of what I should get: Natural color Cranks (green, white, etc.) with no rattles. This is a stupid question, and I think the answer would be "yes" but, the lake has a lot of crawfish, so would a red or green crawfish pattern be good? And using bright, natural color spinnerbaits with willow leaf blades. But, would a chatterbait work well? And plastics, I know what to get. And for topwater, would a Fluke be good? Thanks for all the help.

  21. nevermind about the SX, Please read my new post titled "LAST ONE!!!" THanks everyone!
  22. ok, this is my LAST post about which reel I need to get. ok my last question.. I have recently been to a basspro, and I was tring out the abugarcia revo stx, but my problem is that i need a reel ( but the stx is tooooooo much money). So, I have made the conclusion on these two reels : Okuma Vsystem V-200, or the Abu Garcia Revo S. I have yet tried sampled them, 1st off because my bass pro was out of stock of the S, and they dont have the okuma. Well, once again, I need your help. WHICH ONE??? I have heard some GREAT reviews about the Okuma, and a few about the S. I will mainly be using light weight soft plastics, so.. The answer lies with you. Thanks for all your help, and I will let you know what I get tommorow night (I am buying it of the internet). THanks for everyones help
  23. no, No dick's stores around me, so you think I should get the revo s over the sx?
  24. I am thinking about the revo or the j. morris... with the revo... Is the sx worth the extra 50$ other than the s?
