simple question, do you split the tail on your sweet beaver?

i just got back from fishing a tournament on truman lake in missouri. The water was 18 ft high..then the night before the tournament, the lowered the lake a foot and a half. Well it was a very hard day of fishing...any who, the following baits were the ones that cought the fish: sweet beavers, senko, white or yellow horney toad fished in the grass, black and blue jig, purple jig, paca craw, gold rattle trap, and spinnerbaits.

mike is one of my favorite things to come to bass fishing. He is an awesome guy who really knows/loves to fish.....i really could write a lot more, but i'm gonna end it with this: What I dont like, and i may get bashed for this, is swindle...i think he saw how populair ike got by acting how he does, and thought he'd give it a try...to me, he's just tryin to hard to be like ike.

I absolutely love senkos...I used to HATE them, but i got the teqnique down. I usually rig them wackey (through the middle) I can fish any color And what i do, is cast it near the bank, or by any structure. When it hits the water, watch the line as it starts sinking, if you see the line move in any direction, set the hook!

i know this is about bass, but here top this one: We were at our resort at table rock lake, so my grandpa wanted to set a trot line for some catfish. So I went along and helped him. We got the trot line in, and it was noon and about 98 degrees, so we decided to come back and bait it later on that night....well when the boat pulled up to the line, and i grabbed it, i felt this tremendous tug...well it turned out that a 7 pound channel catfish bit a plain hook.. I dont no , i thought it was pretty funny.

all right thanks man, the thing is, i've just been waky rigging them through the plastic, and noticed that they rip really easily when i do that......does the ring help prevent that?

hey guys, i;m going to bps tommorow and was wondering if they sell any rings that i can put around my senkos...do you guys know of anything?.

my main presentation with jigs is : cast it near any cover you can find, let it sink to the bottom, and just slow drag it on the bottom with an occational hop. good luck and keep at it!

How do you post vid's of yourself fishing? Can u use a regular video camera? or does it have to be a digital video camera?

the reccomended line is 12 pound.....but i use 10 pound yozuri hybrid baby!

u screw a strait tail worm on the spring/screw, and rig it weedless...cast it in and jig it on the bottom

the first one looks about 5 1/2....that exact spinnerbait was catching them like crazy here...beautiful fish

if you want a good solid rod, I would definatly look into the Falcon Cara. Altho its 130$, it is an amazing rod

I recently went up to BPS, and they told me not to put 8 pound line on my bc. Why is this? I also want 8 pound line on it, should I do it or not?
