  5. Hey all, me and my cousin went out fishing at lake st. louis the other day. It was very cloudy and windy, but we tore em' up. I cought a ton of 2 pounders, one 3 pounder, and a 4 pounder (all not pictured) all on a spinnerbait. but i did get a pic of a 5.1 pound hog that was cought on a rattle trap. Sams spinnerbait fish: sams again: my 5.1 pounder cought on a chrome/black rattletrap Again and heres the length ( it may not look like it, but it was 19 1/2 inches): thanks for looking. ps- all fish were released alive.

  9. ok all, I need 1 answer, and you dont need to explain at all....which do you think is a better reel: the sol or the viento...i have a chance to get a good deal on either, so let me know.
  10. Flyphisher said to use at least 12 pound test line...i totally disagree....i use 6# as my min. and 10 as my max..I'm not saying it wont work, but you will feel and get alot more bites on the smaller line....as for plastic...if you read my outing post and saw my pic's...Webbs Baits makes some nice worms for shakey head... Craig
  11. senile, its really tough getting those 3x worms on a shakey head screw , or a peg like the spot removers. The material that the worm is made out of makes it like that...i would suggest the bite me jighead for the 3x
  12. a guy that goes by the name "harshman" makes some good ones, and Spot Removers are nice too
  13. its a nice stringer, but is it just me, or are the snaps on the stringer hard to get un-done
  14. thanks, it was a great day
  15. Well the thing was, I was fishing on a pontoon boat, and we had a scale, but it was broken, so we put them on the stringer, and broght them back to the house and weighed them with a dif. scale.
  16. well guys, I went out fishing at my grandparents lake yesterday. It was raining, windy and cloudy. So I tied on a Webb's Bait Black Magic worm and was pitching it around docks....and wham! what a day. I probably cought about 20 fish, these three being the biggest, and I let a nice 2 pounder go. Today I went out and cought another nice one, but on a swim senko.. Here are yesterdays pics. One is 3 3/4 punds, the other two are right at 3 pounds. The 3 biggest another proudly letting these guys go sorry about the twisted pics.

  18. I have been looking for a Mercury tournament shirt, but cant find one. Does anyone know a website that I can get one for a decent price of under 100$ (ps. tried ebay allready, and need it by the week before memorial day but want to get it early so I can put stuff on it.)
  19. main rule: Think deflection. Use a square billed crankbait, and deflect it off of any cover around (mainly wood).
