I just got a Kistler Argon, It's a great rod at a great price. I think Kistlers are underrated.

I caught a large 3 pounder there 3 weeks ago.

I am interested. I have fished echo and it can be pretty small, considering each fishing spot could hold 2 people max unless you are on the dock. I would definitely be interested in the new areas suggested above since I've only been in Richmond for 1year-8months, and would like to try new spots.

Great information, I'm new to the forum also and am still hunting for a club. Seems like most of the clubs here in Virginia are team format though, so it's hard for a non boater to get his foot in the door.
