I like it in the higher 40s. i start with mister twisters and swim baits too search for them. soon as a hook up with a few i switch to watermelon baby brush hog then i crush early smallies

I fish it early summer. This heat has the river very warm and water level is down quite a bit. The weeds are horrible in both the lower and upper river. It's been a horrible summer for Fishing. Boat rarely leaves the slip. Bring on the hunting season. I'm dying to get my first crossbow kill.

Haven't fished in over a week. Been to d**n hot and windy. Just bought a crossbow and have been messing around with that. Now I just want fall to get here so I can shoot bambi and do some salmon fishing.

Small boat harbor with a kayak is great for smallies...tube jigs and mister twisters work great.....most bass I caught this year was on a Texas rigged watermelon redflake baby brushhog. I think the over flow is over fished now I won't be going back there...hyde park has been great....gonna go on Saturday with my flyrod

Hyde park in niagara falls is a hot spot ....caught 17 in 2 hours....didn't matter what I used...went to the overflow and got skunked

I've done well from the beach with big ass swimbaits and the biggest mister twisters you can find.....good luck
