  1. Today I hit the river for a few hours after school. I ended up catching about 15 1-2 pound largemouth on a weightless fluke. The biggest fish were a pair of 3 pound smallmouth that i caught on a jerkbait. Pretty good 3 hours on the 'doah.
  2. Ok. Where should I get heads from? I would like to find some that do not have a weed guard already installed
  3. I'm a 15 year old guy looking to get into pouring and tying my own jigs. I was wondering how much should it cost to get basic tools for pouring and tying
  4. Sounds good to me
  5. The yum craw papi and chistie craw are awesome baits as well as the berkley pit boss
  6. Pearl, watermelon red flake, bubblegum
  7. Fishing the Midwest has a good neko rig video that you should watch
  8. Take a look at the pflueger supreme spinning reel
  9. Red label or stren fluorocast
  10. I have the black max / vengence combo and I like it. Good for Texas rigs and jigs. It is a good beginner baitcasting combo for $80. For a $150 cranking combo get a pro qualifier in a low gear ratio and a bps crankin stick . Spinning combo Fenwick elite tech smallmouth in your preferred action and length and a pflueger supreme spinning reel.
  11. Go with the cranking stick and a carbonlite reel

  16. I don't own one but from my experience with lews the BB1 should be a good reel.
  17. Yeah that makes sense. The bucoo seems like nice rods for the price. And assuming we are talking about baitcasting rods there is no medium light Veritas.
  18. From what I've heard falcon bucoo mediums are pretty light action. But if I had to pick one it would be the bucoo
  19. KVD's and storm arashi's
  20. Another vote for war eagle
  21. I did not catch this but I just wanted to post this. 26lbs 2oz is the second largest ever caught on lake anna.
