Welcome! For 2-10ft. I would use square bill crankbait, shad color for clear water or black for dark water. Try some 5" green pumpkin Yamamoto senkos either Texas rigged ( 3/0 ewg hook) maybe try wacky

I've heard dark colors (black, blue, green pumpkin) for murky water and light colors (white, yellow, light green)... I hope this helps.

I recently purchased 2 of the 1/8oz. Strike king jigs. After I bought it and opened the package up I looked at my bait caster rods recommend weight for lures and it is 1/4 to 3/4oz. Could I cast a distance with that light of a lure? Or should I use my spinning combo to catch with it? -Thanks Austin

When using braided line, should i tie it directly to my hook, or no? I am considering switching to braid and i have heard it is a great change but also a downgrade. The main downside to switching to braid I've heard is tying a leader to it, making a knot and also a harder cast, and less strong line. Any thoughts.... i hope this is not to confusing to read.
