Hello everyone, i am a new angler (2nd year) and I want to start tournaments. I have a decent arsenal of lures and rods. For tournaments do I need to have a boat? I have a canoe to use but no boat. Any info that you guys may have would help. I have no clue where to start.

not gonna lie, this is my first motor I have purchased if I do so. I just wonder about buying a battery and battery box... I'd rather buy that one you showed me but i dont wanna spend a fortune on a battery

when i spoke to him he said it was in good condition. this battery is 2 years old he says... lasts 5hrs on water with a kayak

In my area a guy is selling a few year old Minn Kota Endura C2 I believe. It is 5 speed 30 thrust. Comes with Cabela's battery and battery box. Asking $150 says he can go to $120. Will be my first motor I have bought and I want to know what you would recommend and if it is a good deal. Any thoughts help. Thank you!

Anyone have any knowledge of canoeing with a trolling motor? I may get one for my canoe. It is 16' plywood canoe I built. What is better about deep cycle batteries vs normal ones? What would you recommend for a Minn Kota motor? License needed to operate one and do I need to register boat (Washington State)? Any other info is great. Thanks for reading.
