  1. I have 6'6 Bionic combo, 6'6 Extreme combo, 6'6 rick clunn combo, and 7'o Crankin Stick combo and have had no problems with any of the rods or reels they are great for me i fish about 3-4 times a week.
  2. I was wondering, Ive never used fluorocarbon line but I am going to try it for finesse fishing, what is the best fluorocarbon line you have used?
  3. I may be wierd but I am right handed and have always reeled with my right hand and casted with my left. My BC are right handed and I always switch my spinning to the right side because it is just really awkward for me to reel with my left hand but i think it comes down to what you are comfortable with and how you first learned to reel, my dad taught me how to fish and he always reeled with his right hand so i do the same that is how i learned and everything else is jst awkward.
  4. AllI use is Berkley Big Game and Berkley XL.
  5. I recently bought the "Crankin' Stick" from BPS which is a combo of fiberglass and graphite and the rod is very nice, as far as for all other applications I use graphite because of the increased sensitivity.
  6. Thanks for the advice i will definately try these techniques and see if i can't get some topwater bites, I noticed some of you said fall is not so good a time is spring the best time? Post spawn? Pre-Spawn? Thanks again
  7. First of all I'm new to the forum, I'm 18 years old and have been bass fishing since I was 15. I live in Northwest Indiana about an hour from south bend if you know where thats at. I was wondering? I have many topwaters, heddon tiny torpedos, LC Gunfish 95, LC Sammy, Zellpop, Spro Bronzeye, etc... The problem is ive only caught one fish on a topwater in 3 years and that was on the the spro bronzeye frog over moss. I watch on TV all these fish exploding on topwaters and it looks like so much fun. I have tried reel stop reel , walk the dog, and all the techniques that I could find but nothing seems to work. Do you guys have any ideas on what i'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

  9. I tend to fish the tube texas rigged when fishing it in heavy cover, around grass, all vegetation, etc.. When using it in open water I use an internal weight because i believe it makes the tube more natural looking and the fall of an internal weighted tube is great!! In the case of what kind i actually use Yum or Strike King. The Yum mega tube is a great tube an is my go to tube.
