Isn't it cute? I was looking for a small u tail to fish the weedlines.
  2. Glad you like it! Here is an example of the baits poured using this cup. It was poured by my buddy Travis C. His Senko swirls are even more impressive. Mine still look like a Homer Simpson spice rack.
  3. I had this made by a local glassblower- an all pyrex glass divided pouring cup. Great for pouring swirls.

Thanks! Sometimes I am asked for a chartreuese vein so it must work too.
  5. Haha- yep, just sharing ideas. Not much to do during winter in Michigan, so I make stuff.
  6. This past winter I played around modifying Do-it bullet mold to accomodate flat eye hooks. My buddies like wire keepers so I made some with them.

Thanks guys- it's really easy to pour and the Gami weighted wide gap hooks fit very nicely.

    Beautiful work!!
  15. Hi guys and thanks for the warm welcome! Dave
  16. Here is a modification I made to an existing mold. It allows this mold to be poured with a bit firmer plastic and get good swimming action.
  17. When I first started out making molds, I liked Durhams water putty and watered down elmers glue as a sealer. Hope this helps, Dave
  18. I agree with Tim- you can use any existing spinnerbait mold to make chatterbait heads and you can also modify jig molds by drilling a channel to the head. I was able to do this with the poison tail jig mold. I tried to upload a pic but the file is too large- sigh- another technical hurdle to cross! I think I was able to add a pic now- sorry!
  19. Hello! my name is Dave and I am from the Kalamazoo area. I pour soft plastics as a hobby, using supplies from Lurecraft, since they are nearby. I like to fish Senkos and have recently been fishing small swimbaits on jigheads. I look forward to exchanging information with you! Dave
