  1. Broke off my favorite LC Pointer on a log and went back the next day to find it. After about 1/2 hour I found it along with about 50 other lures, Game warden stopped me and ask what I was doing so I told him why that lure was so special. I caught about 35 bass the day before until I lost it. Allen
  2. 5/16 90% of the time with a lions main cut skirt and medium wire hook. Fish these on 10-15lb flor with a medium to MH rod (depends on how manufacture rate it) with a 2-3" trailer. Pic is of my main finesse jig that I make and use. Allen
  3. They day job is Cirque Du Soleil performer. Allen It was a joke but seriously who brings a casting net to a bass tournament? That to me just seems suspicious. Allen
  4. I can make a jig to imitate that. Going to use a downrigger weight, mop head, gaff hook, and a pair of gozilla claws from the costume store. Spray paint everything green with a few spots of blue for the win. Allen
  5. Going to give Silky a run for his money. Allen
  6. That is my best technique for bed fishing! Allen

I can't pour any heads until it warms up myself. Allen
  8. Bottom one is considered invasive by the International Association of Haters. Allen
  9. BOSS are nice but they are expensive compared to other places. Allen
  10. When did they change the formula? Allen
  11. Are you going to start making hooks? Allen
  12. What weight is that? Looks like a heavy jig. Allen
  13. Same here, as long as they are not one extreme or the other. Those RC knock off visions were the worst and most inconsistent jerkbait I ever used. Since smalljaw67 gave out the secret those XS4 jerkbaits rock. Still holds my record for most fish caught in one outing on the Upper Potomac; 67 bass, 4 walleye, 10 panfish, and a tiger muskie. Had to change the trebles out twice in one day by stealing them from other baits. Allen
  14. Agreed, I am not sure why he sells them so cheap for the time he spends making them. Allen
  15. Besides rusting very easy I have had zero problems with this hook. If it is a problem I suggest going with the round bend cutting point. I have caught many bass over 6lbs on this hook in jigs that I make and never had a problem. Allen
  16. Jigs are the easiest lures to make yourself even if you cannot pour lead. Heads are like $1 each and skirts you can make for $0.75 with a $5 tool. Allen
  17. I love hardbaits is a great seller and I have spent at least $500 with him over the years. Allen
  18. I have some that are 20 years old that still work so unless there is a problem with storage they should work. Allen
  19. What is the average cost of a 3/8 or 1/2oz jig now? I make my own and have for over a decade so I do not know what the average cost is. Allen

That guy is running on plane thought 4" of water filled with rocks. Looking at that video I could run that boat down my street in a hard rain. Allen

    What is that?
  22. Joined 2006 so that gives me seniority or something? Allen
  23. There is a more environmentally friendly formula out there but I do not know who sells it other that Hagen's fish. Allen
  24. The ribbed one is 3.8" while the other two are 4". I can make you some as long as the colors aren't hard? Generally the only soft plastics I pour are; flukes, jig trailers, and some DS worms. Green pumkin, solid black, and smoke are the colors I make 90% of the time. Started to get into pouring years ago then quit after I dumped 4oz of molten plastic over my hand. Slowly getting back into it because I like catching fish on the baits I make. Allen
  25. Shot these last night in some new molds I picked up. This is only the second time injecting baits so there is a learning curve to it. Allen
