Summer Structure
Interesting thing I don't really understand in a book I'm reading the comment reads as follows. Summer structures appear relatively flat or gradually sloping. Now why is this something to look for I always thought it was the quick drops to deep water and not the gradually sloping banks?

Mapping issue at bow carbon

Natural Midwest lakes
So I’ve started to think I’ve made bass fishing to difficult. I have small natural Lakes around me, with no current and a thermocline around 15 feet are usually all this time I’ve been trying to fish humps, points and structure but I seem to have just as much luck casting a bit deeper if summer or shallower If spring and not even carrying about the structure is this a mental thing or is this just a part of bass fishing. example is I would cast on just a normal bank that goes out to 10-15 no fast drops or anything but standing trees would be there and I would have just as much luck as if I was to fish a hump honestly more luck

Large hair jigs summer
Preacher Jig Style 3/4-1oz size usually white. That’s why I was concerned if it was even worth building a set up for it on my Midwest lakes( no shad and not to many deep areas) but have heard it’s a go to technique for deeper water fish.
-
Large hair jigs summer
Interesting there’s no shad there? I’ve seen the same videos I ask because I thought it was mainly good if you seen a large school of bass with baitfish near by
-
Large hair jigs summer
Are these a good choice if you lake does not have shad. Lakes here mainly have bluegill, crappie, crawfish and bass mainly and I'm worried it's meant for lakes with shad or a congregation of bait fish deep

Summer spinnerbaits

Summer spinnerbaits
For largemouth any luck or do you have more luck with other moving baits? Deep/shallow conditions? Blade combos hook me up with the details. info from me is in Midwest water is around 2 foot clear pretty often. Spinnerbaits get stuck on my grass which is pretty much just pond weed

Looking to build doubles of certain rods see below
Hello, bassresource family! Looking for help to double up on my worm and jig rods I currently have a set up for worms 3/8oz or less TAEL701MMHXB-AGS Brent Ehrler M-MH XF 7'0'' 1 8-20 1/8-1 Now I was wondering if just doubling this rod would be effective or should I look at getting a heavy action rod. I'm just looking to cover all my bases
