Air temp was 64 today 67 tomorrow then 63 Friday but Saturday it’s 62 is just just a normal weather trend old a cold front? Sunday is 55 (the day in question is Saturday)

Can someone help me on understanding when to fish a med depth spinnerbait and how to work it? In past videos I see people fishing it just until they can't see the blades along with fishing it on the bottom but am a little confused about mid depth. Is it just counting it down and fishing it like swimbait with random pumps of the reel/rod? when is this productive if so?

What are approaches if you fish a stump field and let’s say you want to fish a lipless. Do you hit it with a jig or Texas rig first then a lipless that way your not chancing getting snagged as much with the lipless and ruining the spot from the beginning

The above is my current water temps, I found a quick drop off sorta like you would along a dam, it does not come to a point just goes from shallow to deep in a sharp drop like near a dam. The hard spot goes out to 15 foot of water BUT there are no rock piles it is just a hard bottom does this spot have potential in the spring time of the year? Do you want to not fish it unless it has one more ingredient like a brush pile or rock pile on top of the hard spot?

Good point on the stain water, That gets me thinking so I don't have stain water but it will be cloudy is it the same level of effectiveness or do you really need that stain water?

Is the lifting it sorta like a jig not a legit thing? I wonder if I read that wrong

Let’s say it’s pre spawn first week of nice stable weather then the day you plan on fishing it drops 25 degrees and is going to rain are the fish active and in the moving up mentally since it is currently raining that day? Or do they back off usually since it still dropped

Tournament is next Saturday going to stick to my strengths and just slow down. I’ll post on how it went on a thread probably. First tournament of the year it was 32 air temp with gust of wind up to 50 and only 7 fish where caught out of 20 boats

I have my finesse baits ready just don't know if it's the right move. I was thinking of mainly fishing the spinnerbait and jig type stuff but read a lot about our lakes and this is something that was said (downsized bait presentations produce the best results, like shakey heads) I said club tournament but it's actually one of our more serious tournaments here and yeah I'm going to have fun no matter what just want to try my best also.

How long would you let the bait soak in these conditions?

Tournament fishing this lake. pre-fishing, usually can't happen for me as I work 6 days a week most weeks but of course I would try if possible. Yeah it's a 15-25 boat club style tournament
