Swimbait help needed
I have a boat so that solves that good to know about the slow sinks sink rate. So pretty much graph then see how they are relating to the bottom and guess sink rate and swim it slightly above them?

Swimbait help needed
I have the equipment dialed and have the baits but exactly how do I fish the bigger glides toss near the area now do I let it sink and keep it in the zone, Or do I keep it near the top? how about baits like bbz slow sink? Same thing I’m assuming? to clear up my post I’ve watched tacticalbassin videos etc and understand the movements of the baits but not sure exactly how close depth wise do I fish it next to a target depth wise.

Tatula elite 7’6”ml
I have the Listed spinning rods and as curious if they would be to light for finesse mojo/Carolina rig? Or what would this rod be best used for? Besides spybaits and Ned rig

5"-6"inch boot tail line
5"-6"inch boot tail swimbait line I currently have 20lb fluro on a 7'6"hvy but now that I'm thinking it over I think it might just be to heavy to get the best action out of a normal boot tail and was thinking of dropping it down to around 14 fluro do you agree with this?

jigging spoons
how deep should it be for these to be effective? I'm assuming 15 plus so you can read it on your graph?

Pressured lakes fish location
Interesting pay attention the mlf to be successful? Do you mean successful as in just catching fish or do you mean something else by this?

Pressured lakes fish location
Ok so I thought this was interesting let’s say you fish a small body of water let’s say 3000 acres We know the high percentage areas but so does most other if not all anglers on the water. So are these high percentage spots still high percentage? What is the target in this instance?

Swimbait reel
Swim-bait reel not going to be throwing anything over 1.5oz total mainly around 3/4oz I have one DAIWA tatula 200 size that is perfect for this but for my second one I was wondering if using a 5gear ratio would better than 7gear ratio these are both 200 size spools. I’m thinking of 20lb fluro for both these not quiet sure so what would you recommend in this situation the 5 or 7 speed? Or a normal 100 size spool? Fluro or mono?

Jig rod line
Ok so everyone was very helpful with my texas rig rods with line suggestions I was hoping the same thing would happen here I have 4 jig rods I'm setting up 2- 7' Hvy fast actions I'm thinking for these I will use 14 sniper 1-7' mh xtra fast I'm thinking for this one which will mainly be hair jigs I will go 12lb fluro sniper 1-7'4" This one I'm not for sure on I'm sorta thinking of going to straight braid for heavy cover (I'm worried about the line digging into brush/wood)
-
Second Texas rig setup
Yes I have the same exact rod and the 14lb one I've already set up I plan to probably fish 3/8-1/2 and the rod I'm trying to figure out would be less than 3/8oz
-
Second Texas rig setup
Setting up my second Texas rig rod the first one has 14 sunline sniper on a 7 foot med-mh tatula elite what would you recommend for line size for the second I’m assuming a different line size would be a benefit for certain situations I was leaning towards 12 but didn’t know if that would even make a difference

Ridge meaning
So does it have to come to a shallow part and drop off on both sides?
-
Ridge meaning
A ridge or a mountain ridge is a geographical feature consisting of a chain of mountains or hills that form a continuous elevated crest for some distance is what I found on google to me that sounds just like any contours right together but that can’t be right. But isn’t any steep bank line like a hill? If anyone can help me grasp this I would appreciate it pictures or a better explanation would be helpful

Jig rods you carry
different lengths?
-
Jig rods you carry
By carry I meant bring onto the boat more often than not. Was just curious if it was different line size or for pitching and one dragging I just can’t figure out a reason behind four jig rods unless all are same action and don’t want to retie
-
Jig rods you carry
I’ve read that people carry 4 plus jig rods how is this possible what would be the advantage to this?

Fishing a break
Thank you Tom,catt everyone I'm just quoting Tom currently to make this response. I have read buck perry spoonplugging and in the pursuit of the giant bass, that being said I'm going to start rereading spoonplugging now. Now back on the topic of breaks I think I understand breaks just how everyone described them and I guess what really open my eyes was a-jays post about fishing the structure on the breaks. My main confusion is if I'm fishing a area that is 1-6 foot of water pretty constantly then drops down to 12, but is a stretch of 3 boats lengths how do I attack this by casting angles? Or is this not even a productive spot to look, unless I see some sort of cover/change? I understand this is a deep topic and appreciate all the help on here I don't take it for granted.

Fishing a break
Ok this this will be my first year trying to truly understand a productive break. as far as I understand it’s just the contour line change, so what makes one break better than other I’m assuming shallow 0-5 water with a break to deeper water but how deep? Which are on that break line to fish, do I stay out deep and cast toward the shallow area and drag deep and cover the very small section? what other breaks are good?

football jig
I have a 7'0'' heavy but it has 20lb fluro line on it and read that you lose a lot of feeling with it and need around 12-16lb I also have a ags 7'0" med-mh daiwa tatula rod but I think that would be just to light it is loaded with 16lb line anyways what would you recommend, for the setup?
