I like the Daiwa brand and love the t wing tech. Was wanting the reel you posted but didn’t know if it could handle big crankbaits like 10xd since I heard it has a smaller spool and didn’t know if frogging would be to tough on it

What reels would you need from their line up for deep cranking/frogging/punching and normal casting what 3 reels would get the job done? Not looking to spend 300 plus for a reel anything below is fine

Do you notice a difference between the lv500 and strike king 3/4 oz

Which one is better and why?

I was looking for a rod that would pitch 3/8-1/2. then I’m assuming the 1/2 to 3/4 would be the 7/6hvy rod

Main rod would be for pitching jigs (7/7 hvy any good for this) worried about not being able to pitch lighter weights with this

Thank you that pretty much sums it up. Now my next question how do you know exactly which rods are recommend for certain techniques I know the basics of what the power/actions are supposed to be fore x techniques but does anyone really break it down?

When do you want to go with the shimano zodias over the expride? what techniques would it be better for since I'm assuming you don't need such a high end rod for certain techniques. Or would you just go with all Expride

Expride is what I’m going with I think. So my next question is which techniques would you choose the expride over the zodias, I would imagine you don’t want the expride for all techniques or do you?

What would you recommend daiwa elite with and without ags guides. Or Shimano expride/zodias

Having trouble with waypoint distance. Let’s say I mark a way point and I have the ring circles on and my boat is in the first circle even with my heading line pointing right at the waypoint I can’t seem to hit it/find with my cast how can I fix this?

I’ve read his book and about everything I can find on the internet. Just curious if he was mainly a basic bait man or did he use jerkbaits? Deep diving crankbaits? If anyone can give me some insight on how everything he did meaning was you super versatile or just use everything you would for shallow fishing?

Ok so I’ve done a lot of reading and everyone talks about the higher quality in certain baits example Megabass lucky craft, duo etc but here’s the question say you change out the hooks is there really a fish catching difference? I mean is there a fish catching difference with these baits that a strike king Bait wouldn’t catch?

Here in Iowa the weather the last 2 days has been. Friday 41|31 sat 52|28 Sunday 52|35 and Monday will be 68|46 mostly sunny so my question is I’m trying to understand how to weather affects bass. So how would Monday be fishing wise I’m assuming it would jump start the fish to be active again?

What is a cold front exactly? Like a drop in temperature by 5 degrees over night? If someone could explain in detail what it is exactly that would be perfect
