  1. Went out yesterday, pretty humid afternoon. Ended up pulling in this big smallmouth!
  2. To be honest I'm not sure, I haven't seen any signs for no fishing but i've been fishing there for 10+ years and never had any problems. You should also check out Chebbaco lake in Wenham, there is boat access and some big lunkers in there.

  4. Lynn woods has some great ponds, there is three of them and they all hold decent fish. Behind Gannon golf course is a good place to start.
  5. Does anybody have any luck with plastics in the fall? Such as a berkely havoc pit poss type of lure, with a weight?
  6. Hey whats up guys, hope you guys are having tight lines out there for a fall fishing. I have a question about jigs, I have a St.Croix Avid X 6'8 medium xtra fast spinning rod. I want to try some jig fishing, should I be using a 1/4oz football jig or a 3/8 oz foot ball jig? Thanks for all the advice!
  7. Do you guys think Fluoro is a big advantage overall on Senko fishing with a spinning set up. Enough to make the jump from mono? I fish a 5" Senko weightless with a medium/extra fast rod?
  8. Yeah I will be using it on a spinning rod for t-rigged senkos. Could I use it for light top water like Jitterbugs also?
  9. What pound test would be best suited for senko fishing using Fluoro? I've always used 8 pound mono and it seemed to work. Is fluoro make that much of a difference with senko fishing?
  10. Really? Even for weightless senko fishing? I've always used mono. What pound test braid would you use? Or fluoro for that matter??
  11. Hey guys, I'm looking at St. Croix Avid X Medium spinning rod for senkos, should I go Fast or Xtra fast??
  12. Thanks for help guys, I think I'm gonna go in the middle and get a 6'8 xtra fast rod!
  13. I'm looking for a finesse rod for throwing weightless Senkos, do you think I should go with a 7' or a 6'6 ???

  15. @Mike Dixon Lol I know I figured as much, I've been fishing on the north shore for a long time and just moved to another town on the north shore. I've caught a lot of fish but can never break the 6 or bigger club. I saw your post with you're PB , beautiful fish and great job maybe I should give swim baits a shot!
  16. Anybody know any good ponds or lakes in the North Shore Area that hold big fish??
