Bass Fishing
Depending on the hook you use , the finesse worm will fall pretty slow rigged weightless.

I like this picture
I'd rather have them hooked in the lip anyway. I wouldn't change the hook set. Nice fish.

Go-to Lure to Entice Even the Most Finicky Bass
What about that "clip worm" you created years ago.lol. I was digging in the archives awhile ago and seen a thread you had made about the Yama kut tail worm. And found your post funny about your "clip worm" and its abitiliy to catch even the most finicky fish If you upsize it more than 4" or 3/32oz head... Then supposedly it's not a Ned rig! Jig worm I guess.. lol.

Go-to Lure to Entice Even the Most Finicky Bass
Soft plastic is a very wide category.. @cgolf your tubes and grubs would fit in there as well as all worms , soft plastic jerkbaits, creature baits... I think it's a safe bet to say the soft plastics category will win by a very wide margin...

Favorite Jig heads and weights for keitech fat swimbaits? Update. I'm looking for a detailed head and eyes jig head instead of a weighted hook.
Almost can't fish em wrong. Here's something I learned... Try a 1/2oz jig head.. everyone is scared to go heavy because they think it will hinder the action.. but in reality the 1/2oz (even 3/8) will make the front of the impact wobble back and forth on a steady retrieve.. Giving it more action than just the tail moving.

What kind of bass is this?
Haha . @slonezp ... Not my fish.. I typically use 15-20 braid on my spinning and 30-50 on casting .. ur right.. there is a time and place for it... All the time .

What kind of bass is this?
I've been using braid for ever a decade and never had that issue.. maybe some minor slices but not very often .. I can't even remember the last time braid cut me..And I use it every time I'm out. You definitely want another knot for joining your leader to your main line...

If you could only limit yourself to 1 rod, 1 reel, and 3 lures ( soft plastics w/ hooks or other lure ) what would you chose
Spinning set up. MH . Braid. I could pick so many different sets of 3 and be happy with them its ridiculous. Shad rap, double tail hula grub, swimjig (with a kalins grub I suppose)

What kind of bass is this?
The first dead give away is the green color... Smallmouth are typically brown or "bronze". There is alot to read on fish identification but a look at Google images should give you a relatively quick understanding. Also.. I suggest trying braid on your spinning reel. Best thing I ever did. Your casting distance and sensitivity will be noticeably different the first time out. But learn a Palomar knot. If need be you can use a floro or mono leader if you think it's necessary.

Senko type bait falling action
I'm sure there are many people who make their own stickbaits... I'm not sure why no one has chimed in to help. Just a friendly bump . Hope you find your answers

Greatest lure ever made?
Lol.. nah I just think readers would get more benefit from people being more specific. Because a ribbon tail PLASTIC worm is a different beast than a 5" PLASTIC stick worm.

Greatest lure ever made?
Plastic worm is too vague. It's like saying crankbait. For those saying plastic worm. Should say a type. As Darren did.. Many , many types of plastic worms.

Targeting record size Bluegill with lure
Crappie magnets on a small ball jig head.. it's a small grub with a forked tail. And they work killer. I've actually hooked a few decent bass while targeting bluegill with these. Oddly, never caught a crappie on one.

Greatest lure ever made?
Rapala original floating minnow. Always have confidence watching it roll. Comes through time and time again.. on more than just bass.

Swimbaits
I've caught a 21" bass on a 4" senko and a 9" bass on a 12" zoom ol' monster... I'm absolute positive a 2 lber could choke a 6" swimbait.

Crankbait Colors
Yea when I lived in Michigan perch was my favorite color too !! It still works here in Ohio.. even in waters where the perch are not present.

What is unusable?
Interesting about the bubblegum baits !! I'm not real big on them... But I had a day where I was catching crappie and bass on them in the same area. I switched to my lightest gear and had a blast.. this was the super fluke too. They were respectable crappie. The rapala DT... I've never had the breakage issues.. Ive broke one.. and own many. I hear it all the time so maybe I'm not fishing hard enough lol.

What is unusable?
You two should give buzzbaits a try if you ever find bass up shallow. Sure they can be taken by other lures but something about chuckin and winding a buzzbait is loads of fun. Dropshot is awesome. The possibilities are almost endless. Mine would be the Japanese market.. I'm not all for the hype.I'll admit I own some keitech. But you won't see me gong out of my way or paying extra to get things from Japan. Are rage and Yamamoto products made in the states ? If so then 95 percent of my soft plastics are made in the states. Like zoom.. fluke , trick worm , lizard, horny toad, brush hog... I think I could get by with just zoom if I had to lol

Fishing show
Shaw grigsby is fun to watch... He spends most of the show pimpin out the products... But he always gives little pointers towards the end... He is always having fun..
