Nitro? Ranger? So confused now
I don't know if you have already purchased or not. I worked at a dealership that sold Ranger and Nitro. The Nitro boats look better than the Ranger's in my opinion, but the Rangers out perform the Nitros. It is literally night and day between the two. I can say that The Nitro has a bigger front deck. But, if you're looking at the smaller details, the Ranger is a winner. Another downfall to the Ranger is obviously the price. But, with the price tag out of the equation, Ranger should be your choice. Nitro customers ALWAYS come back to the dealer to get this fixed in the first couple months of owning their boat, whereas Ranger owners usually don't. Just to let you know, I'm a Triton guy. I wouldn't buy either of these boats, but you asked about these two manufacturers in particular so I am giving my opinion of them both! I hope this helps.

Are there good numbers of big smallies in there? I really want to find big smallies. I don't care for Largemouth all that much. lol

Sebago Lake, Maine area
Hello all, I am heading up to Sebago Lake, Maine the week after 4th of July. I have heard many fixed feelings on how great/bad the lake is for smallmouth. I really want to go to a lake and catch good sized smallmouth. Has anyone heard if Sebago would be a good choice for good Smallmouth? Or would anyone recommend other lakes in the area to fish instead of Sebago? I appreciate any responses. Thanks in advance.

Upgrading my boat
I'm starting to see a trend. You seem a tad bit biased. One of the guys I fish with on my trail is sponsored by Skeeter. He told me all those things about the newer Skeeter boats and that Skeeter is trying to fix those issues. I was giving my opinion. No need for any animosity. Relax.

Upgrading my boat
First off, would be lack of storage in comparison to other boats. The glove box on the passenger console leaks water in heavy rain, the underseat storage leaks during heavy rain. Also the trailers aren't made to last. I have a buddy who has a 2011 and looks like it should be a 2007, my 1994 trailer looks better than his. Just some of the things I've heard...

Upgrading my boat
Lots of guys I know love the way the skeeter runs. But there's little things that they hate about them. Some of the engineering that went into them, just doesn't make any sense. I personally prefer Ranger or Triton. I could be a tad biased, though...

2016-2017 Ranger Z519
Does anyone own this rig? I'm wondering what people think about it. Also what they're running for an outboard. Yamaha, Evinrude or Mercury? Thanks guys.

Lost that loving feeling ...
I've had a terrible tournament season thus far. For exception of a 36th place finish at the Northern Open on Oneida Lake. But other than that I haven't cashed a check in a single tournament out of like 15 or 20. I've lost the drive to wake up in the morning, but I do anyways. I do it because with struggle, comes success.

Does anyone make Blade Baits and paint them? I'm looking for very specific colors patterns... Thank you all.

Why Pro Staff and NPS?
I completely disagree. The benefits are completely worth it. Networking in this industry is the most important thing you can do. Becoming a pro-staff, does exactly that. You don't want to just go around and apply for every company on earth, but if you spend lots of money on a companies products each year and would like to promote them, then apply for a pro staff position. Even if you start at the bottom of a company, you can prove yourself and work your way up.
