Towing boat need opinion.
@MickD I'm gonna try to drive with 0" drop ball mount and see if there is any sway or any problem when launch /load. @WRBmy ball mount receiver is 3-1/4" drop if flip might be too tall and to remounting the ball is pretty tough. I'd rather buy new receiver only that I saw all 0" drop come with welded multiples ball size and I'm not sure if it is strong enough. @frostyair shock, huh? Too expensive my man. Like I said my main concern is to get enough clearance for me to deploy tongue jack where I want it. Worst case scenario I just use gator jack to lift up the tongue high enough.

pictures, or not
I normally resize to 1mega pixel and work fine for me, I just posted 2 images in one post not long ago. How many images you are trying to post at once? If you see some that post multiple images, most of them use third party web site like the one @J Franchoposted or Facebook or imgure or something like that.

Which bow mount TM for 14’
I think my 14' jon got #36, 12V and can last me 6-7 hours no problem. I never drain up my deep cycle battery, but I have 15hp outboard at hand. For you I agree with @CaptPetefor 24V system and maybe 45-50# to get where you want faster and don't have to worry about battery run dry.

Can’t seem to cast shad rap #5
You might try to change your line, your president 25 and M/F rod should work with 1/4oz lure. What is rod lure rated anyway. The 25 series is pretty small reel, equivalent to 1000 size reel from Shimano. You could try reg 6lb mono or #4 hybrid, better yet switch to 10-15lb braid line with leader or not. But you know what 20-25yds that is pretty good for 3/16 oz lure with bulky shape like Shad rap. I can only cast my Husky jerk maybe in the same distance as your. You don't really expect to bomb cast and get 40-50 yds with this type of lure. Try 1/4 lipless and you will be surprised how far you can cast.

Can’t seem to cast shad rap #5
I came to post this as well. I think it easier to use a heavier type lures than changing all your gears. Don't get stuck like me to buy a lot of gears for every lure I have. I know I'm a sucker but I like buying more gear as much as I like fishing.LOL I told myself from now on I won't buy any lure that lighter than 3/16. It is a pain to cast 1/8oz lure and if it got a little bit of wind then forget it.

Daiwa alpha handle exchange
@Angry John, I have steez ex100 where it is aluminum main gear with 100mm handle and I have yet to see any affect on main gear. This is top water reel, spinnerbait chatterbait reel. I was gonna use this for medium size swimbait but afraid the durable of aluminum gear. Also Alpha SV105SH has brass gear. BTW I don't like long handle, it is kind of get in my way sometimes, I'm used to with 84mm handle from Shimano and don't mind at all on 80mm handle on Alpha SV105SH.

Towing boat need opinion.
I already have some idea but it need more steps and not sure it it would work my idea is too switch between proper ball mount and higher ball mount. Use higher one when back in or get out from driveway and switch to proper when on street where I have more leverage. But if towing with higher one not gonna create problem then it would be a lot easier and quicker. BTW I cannot use the adjustable ball mount hitch it would bottom out for sure. I have to use 2 different mount. Such a headache for me, my wife on the other hand just point the finger like I want that boat, I want this color, I want it park there, it block my golf cart, I want cover on .... on and on and on, LOL poor James. And this is not the end of the world yet, wait until I have to teach her how to back up the trailer or operating the pontoon when launch or load that gotta be even more headache.

It the tongue part that bottom out. (Often time I scrape tongue jack wheel on my Jonboat). image to show where it scraped On this trailer it is not that bad on the scraping part since it is just a bracket for a step and once my rear wheel get on drive way I can push through. The problem is the tongue jack which is the swivel type where at location I wanna park, I cannot deploy the jack down. I have to back up where I have enough clearance but it block my golf cart in the garage. That why I need a bit more clearance 4" on so. Anyway I will do a proper measure next time when I get the boat down to launch lamp.

Huddleston Deluxe 68 Weedless
I like hudd 68 special weedless but don't like savage gear since it has to fish faster to make it effective. I also prefer ROF 5 since I fish mostly shallow area. Have you ever throw anything heavier on that rod? I use Phoenix MBX 700XH lure rated 1-1/2 oz for my 68 special. For line since I use smaller size reel (curado 200i) so I use #15 Izorline. On my Luna 253 I have 17lbs mono pair with Phoenix 79H.

Sun Protection
I don't like sunscreen and normally don't wear them so I go with long sleeve tshirt and long pants baseball hat. My problem is when I boat fish or kayak fish I have full protection, glove and mask/buff but I don't like to wear those when bank fishing.

Towing boat need opinion.
I just picked up our new pontoon yesterday. Our driveway is pretty slope (about 30 degree slope) to where we alway have problem scraping when back the trailer to driveway (can't even back 26' moving truck in when we moved). I use Toyota Tundra with 4" drop ball mount which when I picked up I asked the guy at service about leverage and he said it is fine. I didn't do any proper measure (4" drop mount I use for my Jonboat and motorcycle trailer). My question is, Can I use different drop let say 2" drop to gain more clearance. I normally don't tow to far only a mile to launch ramp.

Very lightweight pants?
Columbia here too, very reasonable price and comfortable enough for all day fishing even when wet.

Lowe or Suntracker pontoon
Just came back home with this. The workmanship is not as good as Lowe that I saw. The Bennington even better but that is out of our budget and used one is not easy to find. The triple logs pontoon is nice come with 150HP but that too much for us old ppl in Canyon Lake. We just need pontoon to cruise around with a glass of wine and picnic basket. @Ralph Kingyou should check lowe sport fishing, I like that layout a lot with livewell that can serve as prep table and that price not far off the one I got. It is party barge 20, anyway.

Can’t seem to cast shad rap #5
Slow down now my friend, we are talking JDM reels not JDM.... and I have tons of those as well LOL shuuuuu don't tell my wife about my JDM....., oops I meant JDM reels. Last time I used spinning gears, my wife had to remind me almost every cast "honey bass is in the water not on the tree" sad but true story LOL

Can’t seem to cast shad rap #5
I somewhat agreed. Those BFS ppl, huh? BFS become hype or cool to have setup this day. Anyway anyone got a shallow spool for curado 70 or 50e that wanna sell? I'm looking for one (I'm serious). This is my usual setup for 1/4 oz lure Husky jerk 08 Im trying to get a setup to cast this effectively. It is Husky jerk 06 1/8oz and I have 4-5 of them from long long time ago. I don't wanna waste those lures so I'd rather spend a few hundreds more to use them LOL.

Can’t seem to cast shad rap #5
Let looks at your equipments VS your lure choice (3/16 oz). As you can see most of the ppl will recommend to use spinning since it is a lot easier to handle that weight lure. BUT baitcaster also works if you have the right equipment. First of all this 3/16 oz lure typically requires medium or medium lite to cast and get a good distance spinning or baitcaster. your equipments rod MH, this is manageable if your rod got lure rate down to 1/4oz (mine does and quite often time I use this rod with LC 65SP), but again Medium would be easier to load up and yield more distance. reel: Kastking, I don't have this reel so can't comment on it much but as long as it has good free spin (flush bearing or upgrade bearing) Shimano 4000, this is big and heavy reel and I'm for certain you loaded up with heavy weight line as well. This is no good for 3/16 oz lure. line 15lb cxx, this is a no no for light lure. The CXX #15 is about the same diameter as 20lb fluorocarbon or mono and it super stiff very difficult to mange Even for heavier lure. I normally use #6 #8 copolymer line or 10-12lb fluorocarbon. when casting lite lure typically I use side arm lob cast, or overhead with easy light cast no whipping of any kind.

New Top Water You Want To Try ?
I already tried a few this year and have a few more, mostly these lures came from Asia side. The one that really catch my eyes is BPS copied from whopper plopper but both head and tail spin.

Nesting Bass
I tried not to target bass on bed this past year. I would try a few cast to see how bass react to different type lure. Only one time that a spent more than a few cast in order to get bigger female to bite. I tried to pull the male out a few times with no success so I had to set hook and hurry with the female. The male bass back to protect the nest within 5 mins and I called it quit.

Curado K
The K is good but sadly enough it is not for me, so I sold it and bought another 70 instead. BTW I did the same test on my other reels curado 70 and steez and no sign of moisture in my reel.

Knot questions
Years agos, I learnt clinch and improve clinch knot, but I found a problem of slippage more time than not, then I change to trilene knot and stuck with it since. Even with trilene knot if I'm not careful enough to clinch slippage or break at the knot still happen especially on stiffer line. I do have backup knot which is uni knot that I'll use for most of hard plastic lure and stiffer or biger diameter line.
