New MK Trolling motor...woes
You could use the black rubber insert TM bolts BPS sells them or find that small human, I have one but it's costing me a college education to mount a trollingmotor. 0r these http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=45193&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults

Going fast...
Thanks for the reply, hopefully she never poops, but if she does then it will worked a bit. In my early days it was cars and trucks then came the kids, now the kids want to go fast in the boats. Cams and headers have become jackplates and B&B props. But those blue bottles of funny gas are the same

Weight of boat/trailer/motor?
Jig man is rigth on I'm 2900 lbs on a certified truck scale, zero tackle, zero gas, but with the 3 batteries , jackplate and trolling motor. 30 gallons of gas add 240lb + tackle You are very close to 3300lbs fully loaded.

Question about charging trolling batteries
Well first of you go have a deep cycle even true deep cycle will serve as a starting battery as long gas you dont have 200+ HP motor. If you want the best get a Trojan scs 225 31 series or a AC Deloc Voyager which is sealed . Both will be in the $150 range.

Question about charging trolling batteries
First off I had to read and re read your question and then re read it word for word and then I THINK I got what you really ment. You say that after using the TM a few hours then you hook up a charger it swings down to the 20- 30% and that is alarming you. I wouldnt go buy that swing as all my portable charges do that . You need to measure the voltage or get a hydrometer to test teh batteries. A 10.00 digital volt meter would be a great choice. There is a chart for percent of charge. It goes like this. 12.65-12.75 100% full 12.55 90% 12.45 80% 12.35 70% 12.25 60% 12.15 50% 12.05 40% 11.95 30% 11.85 20% You want to stay away from de charging it under 30% as it will give you much less cycles recharges. Speaking of Recharging,, ANNE Can you jump in. What is the myth about needing a strong 10 amp+ charger to properly charge a big battery 29-31 series. My son has a 2 bank 5-5 and it does fine on aset of MAXX Marine 29's?? That big Maxx Marine 29 is indeed a deep cycle and one of the better batteries for the $$

help with B.A.S.S.
You can fish both adult and jr tournaments YOU CAN'T attempt to qualify for both STATE TEAM/STATE championships. You can fish both ONLY if you have preseneted a signed letter to your youth director and president/tournament directors stating you intentions to pursue either or. Example and recomendation is to pursue you JR championship to go on to th e JWC but if you want to fish with the adult clubs in the State team qualifier do so with the intentions of fishing for experience and bragging rights. But with a letter stating that before you ever board a boat. The same hold true for STATES you cant attemp to make a state team in TEXAS and in Alabama. Double check with your youth director. It has also happend more than once in our state and I had double checked with BASS beforehand, as well as this being a topic in our YD meetings curing the Classic 2007.

bass care in livewell
Only FDA approved chemicals should be used , After we release our fish they can be caugth at the ramp for human consumption. Many livewell addititives are not approved and may be harmfull to humans or other animals that may eat the fish at a later time. BassRX is approved. not plugging any brand but sat through a very intensive powerpoint presenatation at the workshops during the 2007 Classic. Learned alot

C.A.S.T. For Kids fund raising success!!
From a dads prospective I thank you all for supporting Delainey's efforts to help make a difference in some very special young peoples lives as well as spreading the fun of fishing. To all her helpers yesterday Dave Breault, Dave Kugler, Ron Proia, John Candelmo, Phil Gebler & the rest of the guys Thanks. To Ron & Terry Bestwick for your help in the week before the tournament and so sorry for the truck trouble on the way in Sunday morning, you were missed. Joel St.Germain, while you an undoubtedly one of, if not thee best angler in the Northeast, it's was not so much about the techniques to catch fish that Delainey spoke about after the tournament, but more about the meaning of team fishing, partners as well as a few life lessons & having fun on the water. Thank You. To all the members from bassresource.com, many of which this was there first tournament. including Ron alpster from New Jersey. To dedicate that much time and driving to support her cause. Thanks for your support. To the C.A.S.T. For Kids crew who are just always willing to help behind the scene's. To all the Anglers Thank You. Your enthusiasm, support & having a just a fun relaxing day of fishing was a breath of fresh air after a long winter. Again, Thank you all! Delainey's Dad.

C.A.S.T. For Kids fund raising success!!
I would like to thank everyone so much again for participating in my C.A.S.T. for Kids Ice out Tournament. Sunday, April 1, 2007 It was an amazing day for me. For many, the day started off at around 4:30 am. Dunkin Donuts of East Greenwich was kind enough to donate a huge urn of coffee and donuts. The frigid morning was a great wake up call I must say. By 7am there were 34 bass boats in the waters of Roger Williams Park, with 67 anglers ready to start off the day. With a quick briefing on the water it was official at 7:02 am. The blastoff had almost every boat full throttle on their trolling motors. At noon time Domino's was lunch. A mini -picnic of pizza and soda was set up at the Temple. Some stayed out on the water to continue to fish, others went in for a few minutes to take a quick breather. At 2:30 boats started to head back to the ramp. A bit after 3:00 the weigh-in began. There was only 1 limit and some bags of 1-4 fish but not too many anglers ended up with fish. First Place paid $784.00 to Joel St.Germain & Delainey Broggi Second Place $522.00 to Carl Andrade & Frankie Goss Third place $262.00 to Tony Vachelli & Al Vincenzo Lunker $235.00 to Joel St.Germain This was my first fund raising event and only the beginning of a larger goal that I have. I am working towards trying to get the Special Olympics to recognize bass fishing, or any type of fishing for their program. As you can see, I was part of the winning team. From my winnings I will be donating $150 back to C.A.S.T. for Kids. The remainder of the money will be used to help fund future events in addition to working towards my goal of involvement with Special Olympics. To Joel St.Germain, my fishing partner, Thank you for a great time on the water and true fishing experience. For all your help before, during and after the tournament. I'm so glad all those tips I gave you paid off. ;-) This was such a rewarding project for me to do. I would like to thank all of the boaters, anglers, and volunteers that helped me along the way. There are just two many of you to mention. Without everyone's support I would have never been able to do this, and it would not have been the huge success that it was. Please know how very much I appreciate everyone's contribution. In total, $1000.00 was raised and will to C.A.S.T. for Kids RI Foundation, I will continue to work with Russ Thetonia the C.A.S.T. director in RI and we will be shopping for life jackets for all the kids to wear and keep. Thanks again and please remember that this was part one of CAST for Kids 2007 part two will be the actual event on August 25, 2007 back at Roger Williams Park. They will need 20+ boats to help take all the kids and families out fishing. Please contact Russ Thetonia jrussellthetonia@castforkids.org or my dad Mike Broggi Sr mbroggi1@cox.net for more details.

Towing with a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT Questions
That bumper hitch is rated for 2000 lbs and 200lbs tongue weight, you could buy a kit at walmart that just plugs into your existing harness near the spare tire that will give you the 4 pin connector, My son has a 99 4.0 that tows pretty well. I put a hich on his in as well as his friends 99 3.0 just this week. U haul sells a nice round tube hitch that sells for $129. They just bolt right on to the existing bumber bracket bolts holes. 1 hour job. keep loads under 3500 regardless that little 3.0 isnt meant to tow more than that. Transmission cooler would be a plus if autoamtic

RI Youth steps up to plate for C.A.S.T.
Off limits will start 12:01 AM Wednesday 3/28. Delainey made a presentation about the tournament at our State Federation Nation Open meeting today. She took seven applications and checks on the spot. She's at low 30's for boats with many verbal conformations. Checks are coming in everyday and numbers growing. To hand that check to Russ and see the benifits from it; at CAST For Kids RI 2007, will be another special moment, among many in this program. By the way Delainey was asked to fish and will be teaming up at the tournament with 2 time Bassmaster Classic Angler Joel St.Germain.

What was your strangest catch?
While helping at Family Fest during the Classic 05 in Pittsburg one of the little girls hooked into something that gave her a little fight it was pulling sideways. Upon lifting it out of the water she had hooked a S-PAD right in the middle. Her mom asked what is that???? I kinda broke the news to mom quitley expecting a reaction.. YUP GOT one. It was a rather large one though, a MAXI I presume.... A few minutes later one of the boys hooked into a 17" Smallie which could have been the lunker for the entire Classic.
