B. O. A. T. (Bring out another thousand - boat owners support thread)

Yup, another prop question
@A-Jay Thanks for going the extra mile! I do believe I am getting the best given what it is, and I knew that going in. I know a SS prop would help, but was just wondering out loud what others might do. More than 2/3 of my time, I am by myself and rearranging gear is an absolute nessessety. This is clearly a first world problem ?

Yup, another prop question
I get 40 in the spring with the cold water, 2 guys, 1/2 loaded, no water in wells 37 in August, same set-up. That is why I don't mind giving up some top end to keep the nose down

Yup, another prop question
......sorry? My 15x15 aluminum prop on the Honda 115 does a fine job pushing my 1775 impact up to 40ish at 5800 rpm. My only rub is the time it takes to get on plane and a bit of porpousing. I was thinking a four blade might help. Honda does no recommend a dolphin, and mechanical trim tabs aren't out of the question. Any input is appreciated! I do not mind loosing a couple mile on the top end. Thanks

Cheating Scandal
It already started. A groups is suing to get their application fee's returned. They are not likely to win as only a couple of those involved were actually college employees.......On a side note, this has been going on for a long time. If a college thinks it going to be able to name a new building after you and your kids meet minimum standards, your in

CCW Class
Got it....my daily carry is a shield 9mm, simply because it is as comfortable and easy to conceal as anything I have ever carried and can double tap center mass aiming my thumbs. The only think I was better with was my issued 1911, but my hips just can't take the weight and a left handed shoulder cross draw has its drawbacks

Ethanol free gas additive please
Howdy, I just found a station that sells non-corn gas. I also believe they don't add any other additives/detergents. What are you guys adding to your corn free gas? Thanks in advance

CCW Class
....just a side note since we are on the subject. In NH local Chiefs were responsible for background checks and they were in fact more stringent than the state database. The bottom line is it was up to local jurisdiction as long as you were clean in the state base. when I moved to my current home and went for my ccs a few years ago, the chief told me. ” I hope this is the last time you plan on doing this”. At the time the permit was only good for a couple year. Geography means everything in this topic

Tipping a Guide
I always tip. Sometime more than normal for exceptionable service, or if I get the feeling he really needs it. I fully understand it is not required, but it makes ME feel better. It drives my wife and kids crazy, but for me it is paying it forward.
