Does Color Matter in Line?
Heck, I don't know what fish can see. There is little hard evidence on this topic. I find that what I can see is more important. I admit that I am a line watcher and braid is getting the call more often these days. I just like it. I like pink best, yellow 2nd. If I had noticed my hookup ratio fall off, I might have rethought about it, but I have not

Luck
I believe that luck, karma, anomaly and Devine intervention all fall into the same category. You either believe or don't believe......Followed closely by ***** happens. I believe that good and bad luck is usually the derivative of a decision we made somewhere down the line. That said, I think we all have that friend we don't want to be standing next to in a thunder storm and the guy we want to be with in Vegas

Marker Buoys / GPS / Spotlock
I still use them a lot, but one of my pet pieves is tournament fishermen pre-fishing and dropping them and leaving them all over the lake for hours That said, I have found structure that I wasn't aware of......but still!

Remove split rings using snaps?
I have done it both ways, and since I use a snap for convenience, most of the time it is easier to connect it to the split ring

Keeping hands warm - ideas?
I was in a cold weather unit for years then was a tester for Northface and you can't overestimate the benifits of super warming your core. Years ago they made an electric vest which is now used in by linemen in Alaska, that is so warm it enables them to go without gloves for extended periods of time. Today these vest cost about 150.00.Heating your neck and Head is also key in this endeavor. Surgical gloves with hand warmers on the top also work well. With today's technology there is no excuse for being cold.

Control What You Can Control!
While there is no substitute for being prepared, be versatile and adapting may be more important. In fishing, I see be prepared as being efficient. i have found that those that are good “Thin Slicers”.......which most professionals are, do well. There are a couple books on the matter and worth the read.

Does the G. Loomis GLX ever outshine the NRX?
If your looking to spend NRX type of money, and not going custom, I would look at the Conquest.....they can be had for around 400.00 and is better than both

Does the G. Loomis GLX ever outshine the NRX?
I have several GLX MBR’s and prefer them to the NRX. I just land more fish with the MBR flex. They really shine for moving baits

Who Carries Daily.....and What Do You Carry...and Why..?
I have the same situation at work and better concealment is the answer. I went to a sticky holster and 9mm Shield and has not been noticed in 20 yrs. In my early years it was a .380 in a IWB holster. Swore I would never go to a "sticky like" holster, but it's perfect for situations like these. No carry educational institutions are just to big of a target

Control What You Can Control!
As a young man playing football, then coaching it for a couple decades ,I realized that most games came down to 4 plays (24 seconds) that were going to determine the outcome........and those best prepared for those 4 plays would usually win. For me this translates well for fishing and other "life" skills. Think the boy scouts also believe this...."Be Prepared"

How to know if you can afford or is getting a boat good?
You can't tell the cost of something until the accounting period is over..This is why the less expensive boat is not nessessarily the best. Resale value over a stated time, + above normal maintenance, subtracted from the purchase price and opertunity cost of the initial investment, yields the best answer ......screw it, but the lund
