Expand into more species. Simply largemouth now.

I went and scoped it out one evening. The lake seemed really good but since I only do shore fishing I would be limited to the two fishing docks. I would go back and try though. Those two ponds that are there seem enticing. There are so many neighborhood ponds throughout this area. Not sure if any of these hold any value, only one way to find out I guess.

I recently took a new job in Warrenville, IL. Wow, so much water around my office building. I am within a 2-3 minute drive of some great bodies of water. I recently grabbed a new personal best last week. I am really excited about the fishing opportunities I will have once the longer nights come around again. I have a 50 minute commute (and cold weather) otherwise I would be coming up here on the weekends with some friends.

I am in Joliet. I am new to fishing this season and am eager to learn as much as possible. Very smart people here!

Hi - I am coming to you from Joliet, IL. This was my first year fishing. I was always interested in fishing but never committed to doing it. I went with a friend this summer and had an absolute blast. I purchased my first rod/reel from Gander Mountain. I went with an Ugly Stik GX2. It was only a few weeks later that I was able to get my second rod/reel through my 5 year work anniversary. It is a Fenwick rod with a Pflueger reel. I have been trying to go as much as possible. I carry two slim tackle boxes with worms, frogs, crankbaits, poppers and jigs. I am addicted to crankbaits. I do almost all my fishing from shore in local ponds. I landed two of my biggest fish just this week! Catch and release of course! Let's go!
