I have the ML Shock for dropshot if I ever get around to it.Wasnt sure if they all had that action though.

Go with whatever feels good to you.I prefer a Heavy/Fast for frogging.I haven't fished the MH Shock to say is not a good frog stick.However,the key words are FOR HIM.Just because he likes it for the application doesn't mean you will to.Go to the store and play with some rods.Bring your reel with you as well to see how it balances with different rods. Even the MH Shock has more of a moderate action?

The Veritas was my 1st high priced rod.It only gets worse from here haha.I bought that before I even understood what to do with it.After breaking the tip a couple times and losing a guide I retired it after 4 years of service.Mine was 1st gen.It takes a beating,and believe me I beat the crap out of it.

So I was doing some tight quarters combat fishing and managed to catch a bush in my back cast.No saving this one!

I can't catch a break up here either.Ive gotten on 3 so far today though! Steady weather is right around the corner in Mass though.

Didn't have time for A1 so I'm at my normal spot.Been tough the last few times out but caught 2 in the 1st 15 minutes.Nothing worth weighing but o e nice fish about 2lbs.Nice beautiful healthy looking fish.
