If you are using a mono backing I would rule out slip due to that. Line dig doesn't cause slipping and is clearly visible. Try to tighten the drag star

Spro frogs aren't soft enough. I never get bit using Spro. Never had an issue with any Booyah frog. Live Targets are expensive, but look sweet in the water. This year i'm trying the Scum Trophy frog. I wouldn't personally waste my money on a Spro or a Live Target. I'd stick with the Pad Crasher for both regular and popping.

Also.... If you're not modifying the hooks (bend out and up) or trimming the skirts to increase hook up ratio, you may be doing to wrong.

Pitching has almost taken over frogging for me. They are 1A and 1B for my favorite techniques. I use a 7'4" HF rod with an 8.1:1 reel spooled with 50# Sufix 832. Rage bugs reign supreme.

Exactly. Buy a zebco 202 for 5$ and trade it. They stock a massive amount for that reason. Did you ask the store manager (not the fishing stupivosor) to build your own?? My BPS lets you do that if you ask nicely.
