New Sweetheart On The Way!

Featured Replies

Just ordered a new Killer Instinct Crossbow. I couldn't pass up the deal. It's the whole package, K lumix illuminated 5 hair scope, Bolts, Quiver, Rope cocker, and sling. Adjustable stock and forearm, Sound dampining system and It has a 3.5 lb trigger, weighs only 7 lb and is rated at 355 fps. "Best of all it has a lifetime warranty". Killer Instinct sent me a valentine coupon for 250.00 off the retail price, so the total cost was just 249.00.  I Just couldn't pass this one up, so I thought I would "show Off" a little bit. Lol      It has really great reviews too.   I should get it in the mail by Friday and I can't wait

What disability do you have?

Why does he need to have a disability to own a crossbow?

Well my disability is between my ears, but that is besides the point! I just like crossbows because I like deer meat and it's easier for me to fill my freezer with something i'm comfortable with.    I guess my real disability is fried deer meat, biscuits and gravy, because I like that too! :)

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought maybe you had ordered a mail order bride.

Here in Massachusetts its illegal to hunt with a crossbow unless you have a lifelong disability preventing you from drawing a compound.. You need a doctors note stating so and once you get that permit, you can never hunt with a compound ever again.

I could make several comments on the increasing encroachment of legislation on the rights of hunters and sportsmen and women alike but I'm sure you already know what state you are living in.

Virtually every state allow the use of a crossbow in some fashion to hunt.  In some states the general population can use them during all of the traditional archery season, and in some states you need a disability permit to do so.  In Minnesota, you can use them if you are 60 or older or with a disability permit, during all of the archery season.  Compound users don't seem to care for them but Michigan and Wisconsin have recently made them legal during all of archery season for the general population.

Nice cross bow scottyboy.

Anyone can use a crossbow during bow season in Arkansas.  Nice bow!
