Still normal price.However if the 2.0 is anything like the first gen 69.99 is a great deal for that rod.Keep in mind the run heavier than the rating.Ive broken the tip on mine a couple times but that was my fault not the rods.If you can spend another 20 bucks you should take hard look a a Falcon Bucoo.

Great post. X2 on the jig suggestion.Give it a serious shot.A simple chunk,craw or twin tail grub on the back is a major weapon of bass destruction.You can light them up spring through fall.

Had a kid at work bring his reel in for me to look at since his "drag wasn't working" the way it should even with it tightened to max.His drag was fine,his braid was slipping on the spool because he had no backing.One wrap of electrical tape on the spool will save you a headache down the line.
