  1. Those Arashis were a nice pickup.I love that crank.
  2. Biggest weight I own is 3/4 and I get get through some complete junk with that when the pond is a vegetative mess.Laydowns you could probably get away with 1/4 or even 1/8. I personally have never needed more than a 3/4 to get through mats and bushes.
  3. exactly
  4. 12# Yo-Zuri Hybrid. If you want to go flouro id say 12 or 15# Sunline Assassin
  5. I just looked it up.That thing is 100 bucks!!! Ill take the Tatula CT please lol

  7. YUP. My preferred hook choice right there.
  8. Eastern Mass we iced out last weekend as it was in the 70s for 2 days but this weekends frigid temps skimmed the ponds and lake back over.I just want to go fishing! Love this thread idea by the way.
  9. I havent used these yet but the Fusion19 trebles are sticky.I might give them a shot.
  10. Never going to go wrong with St.Croix Mojo.I really want to fish the Avid and the LTB line.As far as split vs full grips go,i use and like both.I do however find the full cork more aesthetically pleasing.
  11. Anybody see this thing??
  12. I just said in another post too that i use the Owner cutting points offset 3/0 and the twistlocks in 3/0 and 4/0.You cant go wrong with those hooks.I have 1 pack of EWG 4/0 for the fat ikas i picked up and thats about it.
  13. I think i have 1 pack of EWG in my bag.Its all about the Owner twistlocks and offset worm hooks for me.Usually in 3/0 or 4/0
  14. I'm going to pick up siwash hooks and see how it affects a few different lures.I'm interested how it will change the fall/rise rate or the suspension and action of a jerkbait or crankbait more than anything.Time for some fishing science and a trip to BPS! Also we got some skim on the ice over the weekend so ill need someone to mail me a bass to put in the tub for hookup rate details
  15. Another vote for the Pad Crasher Jr. In dart frog if you can find it! I think they may have discontinued that color.
  16. I have the 7'1" Mojo paired with the Tatula CT as well. That is a killer combo.
  17. I havent done this but its crossed my mind.Im intrigued to see where this thread goes.
  18. I used it for a frog reel for 2 seasons.I thoroughly disagree with this. While faster may be better for frogging,I never had a problem with that application.
  19. 6'7" *** *** *** with an 8.1:1 *** IN ception spooled with 13# Sunline Defier Armilo That filter is on point guys lol.
  20. I use SK products because they are without a doubt EFFECTIVE TOOLS.Id buy them even if they put Bill Lowens' mug on the package.
  21. @MassYak85 i was there about noon myself. All i got was a Berkley skinny cutter 110. 2nd new jerkbait this weekend. Ill be glad when the sale if finally over and the foot traffic clears out.I cant stand it in there during the classic. Its great when you go in there at 4pm on a Tuesday and you have the place to yourself and can take your time.Plus you dont have to park all the way down by Olive Garden.
  22. I used to use mine for frogging and never had an issue
  23. Just grabbed a Berkley Skinny Cutter 110 in Skeletor Vapor for 7.99 and it suspends.Same exact color as the Herringbone/chartreuse STX
