  1. Decided to finally organize my terminal tackle.I used a BPS 360 box and used a Zerust divider on every other slot.I wrote hook size and weights on small pieces of cardboard to keep everything identified.I was tired of the mess and digging around to find a hook I needed. How do you guys keep your bits and pieces in line?
  2. Its just a fun basic question.
  3. You can find the vengeance at Wal-Mart for 20-30 bucks.I have both but haven't taken the vengeance out yet.I love the lightning though.
  4. If you were upgrading a setup andYou could buy one now and save up for the other.Which one do you buy now??You have a spare reel and rod to pair up.
  5. Tie right to the line tie/split ring.Yes
  6. I have snaps.Stopped using them.Just tie direct unless your changing cranks every 2 minutes. One less thing to fail.
  7. Its a slip jig.Slide it on the line, then tie your hook on.
  8. Or you could sell off a setup to upgrade. For instance, sell off the T-Rig setup to pay for the soft plastics setup you want.
  9. So i was at BPS today to check the 6'8" MXF out today.I paired it up with a Daiwa BG 2500 and that setup was amazingly light and balanced. That BG was super smooth too.It will be mine.Im going to pick up the pair next week!
  10. Great rod for a great price. The BLS get a TON of love on this forum.Throw a 7.3:1 Tatula CT on there and you have a great frog/flip/pitch/swimjig/light swimbait rod
  11. Berkley Lightning Shock. You wont be disappointed.
  12. Stick to 4-5 good setups that pull 2X duty. That is an attainable goal. You'd have to bag groceries/flip burgers for 2 years to attain your list.Having 15 setups, while as fun as that sounds. Is a bit overkill and you'll save a ton of money.
  13. Is Okuma a new sponsor??? I just noticed this
  14. A good old black Booyah Pad Crasher,black/blue swim jig/trailer,black/blue worm.Pretty much anything black/blue.Did i mention black/blue yet??
  15. I picked up an elite at the store the other day and its pretty heavy.Id get a Berkley Lighting Shock for the same price.
  16. Ive fished the Falcon and the Veritas.Veritas runs heavy.I liked both rods.Cant go wrong either way really.I liked the Falcon a little better as i felt it was a little more sensitive than the Abu.
  17. Using 13# Defier Armilo for topwater and jerkbaits.Love it so far.
  18. Id be pitching that thing into bushes!
  19. Sounds normal to me! She has a makeup obsession i have a fishing obsession.I call it a wash.
  20. Definitely multiple good ones.If i had 400 to blow on a setup id have a St. Croix LTB and a new Tatula CT!
  21. The frog rod is going to be a 7'3"-7'6" HF or HXF rod in most cases. So your versatility depends on the lure rating of the rod you choose. If you're looking at a rod with a 1/2-2oz rating your looking at heavier frogs/pitching/flipping/small swimbaits. If your looking at one 1/4-1 1/2 oz then you get frogs/flipping/pitching but you can throw lighter frogs rather than lighter swimbaits.
  22. This weather is killing me.Im glad i got the day off but im ready to play outside again.
  23. I use a double wrapped palomar aka the nanofil knot.Ive never had that knot fail.
