Hey everyone, I was wondering if anybody knew what the best time of day to find bass on beds was. I know it is important to have sun in order for you to see the fish, but I have heard a lot of people say that if there is not fish here, a fish might pull up in half an hour. Do the bass stay on the bed for a long time, or do they do there thing and leave?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anybody has ever fished Contra Loma Reservoir and cound give me some information along with some tips. I have never been there before. I was wondering the characteristics of the lake such as is there weeds, rock, water clarity, and depth? Are there any specific lures that are good at Contra Loma?

Hey everyone, I am going up to Washougal Washington in the beginning of June. I am mostly a bass fishermen, but I have always wanted to catch a Tiger Muskie. I have heard that it is a really hard fish to catch, but I am up for the challenge. Their are not to many lakes around Washougal that have tiger Muskie in them. I have narrowed two lakes that I could possibly fish for Muskie at. Mayfield Lake, and Lake Merwin. I will be fishing on shore. Could anybody please help me on some Muskie tips, and maybe some tips on some spots. It is a dream fish for me, and even catching a small muskie will be considered a success for me.

Hey everyone, I am going to go fishing this Saturday at a highland type reservoir. We are currently having a warming trend that has been going on for about four days, and should continue for five more days, so in total a 9 day warming trend. I was wondering where you would look for fish, ex. Points, Coves, Shallow water, near rocks, and water depth. Also I was wondering what lures would you use?

Hey everyone, I wanted to put some feathers at the end of a single trailer hook. I usually never throw trailers on my spinnerbait because the trailer hook gets in the way. I was thinking of adding some of those shiny feathers at the end of my trailer hooks. I am talking about those white shiny feathers that you find at the end of a popper. I was wondering what that stuff is called? I have no idea about fly material.

I was considering the Sienna's, but I felt them at Cabelas and was not a fan of the plastic handles. It was my first choice out of all the spinning reels, but I just didn't click with it. It also felt kind of cheap in my hands.

Hey everyone, I was thinking about getting a new spinning reel and I am trying to decide whether to get the Diawa Crossfire or the Pflueger Trion. They are both in a 2500 size. I was wondering what you all would choose. The Diawa Crossfire is 30 dollars with 4 ball bearings. The Pflueger Trion is 40 dollars 7 bal bearings. Which reel would you all choose for finnese applications like wacky worms, drop shoting, and shakey heading.

Hey everyone, I am thinking about getting into jig tying as a hobby. I was wondering if you all know about any cheap arky style jig heads? I do not have a big budget since I am just getting into it. I would appreciate the help.

IMO, all your setups are great, but I would recommend since you are fishing heavy cover with your 7'9 rod, you should have minimum of 50lb braid. I would highly recommend 65lb braid.

Hey everyone, I was recently fishing for some rainbow trout in a lake, and I had a few trout follow my lure for a little bit, then swims away. These trout were good size too. 3-6lbs. Is there any lures you recommend or any techniques that can help me out?

Hey everyone, I went out fishing today on my boat, and I saw about a 6lb bass just roaming around in a cove. He stayed within a 50 foot radius moving along the bank, and down in deeper water. I threw jerkbaits, lipless crank baits, medium diving crank baits, jigs, brush hogs, and a jointed swimbait. She had no interest at all. What would you all recommend using if I come across this situation again?

Hey everyone, I recently acquired a fish tank and wanted to put a green sunfish in it. I have heard that they are aggressive and wanted to catch or trap one. I was wondering what your go to bait/lure is for Green Sunfish. I was hoping to maybe filter out bluegill, red ear, and other sunfish bites and focus on getting a Green Sunfish bite. Also, if you were going to maybe trap one, what would you put in the cage?

White because in clean water, it looks like the flash of a bait fish. In stained water, it stands out with the bright white color.

Hey everyone, I am in a bit of a predicament. The lake I fish at has recently released water and the water level is about 10-12 feet low. Where do the bass go during this low water period?

Hey everyone, I was wondering what kind of line you all use for 6-10 inch swimbaits. Do you use straight mono? Or do you use braid to leader. Also what lb test?

Sure you can cast that frog a mile, but between and heavy action rod, cover, and hook sets, you will find yourself breaking off a lot. Personally 50-65lb for me.

Hey everyone, I was wondering what your thoughts were on fishing big swimbaits on this reel. I got this reel for free and am planning to put 25lb mono on it. Do you think this reel can handle big swimbaits?

Does anybody know of any big swimbaits that are pretty cheap. I am looking for them anywhere from 8-10 inches. I am looking for to be around 20 dollars and cheaper. I would like to hear all opinions from glide baits to huddleston type baits.

Hey everyone, I was wondering what you all thought about a lews mach 2 speed stick as a flippig rod. It will be a 7'6 heavy action rod and will be paired up with an abu garcia revo s. I have not ordered the rod yet, so I was wondering if you all think it is a good rod for this application.

I found the NetFish app helpful to find fishing spots, especially if I am fishing a new body of water.

The Jackall Gantarel has a bluegill type glide bait.

What I usually do is buy my favorite spinner bait, or any bait tha thas a skirt on it, and I use some thin copper wiring and just wrap it above the band.
