Cheap Jig Heads for Jig Tying

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, I am thinking about getting into jig tying as a hobby. I was wondering if you all know about any cheap arky style jig heads? I do not have a big budget since I am just getting into it. I would appreciate the help.

Check out omfishingsinkers.com they have tungsten jig heads now for really cheap. Shipping is usually 9 days and free of you spend 40 bucks.

Uh... I think you've got this backwards.  Building your own is an opportunity to make the best jig that fits your style of fishing.  Don't skimp on components, especially the hook and line tie placement.

What @Bluebasser86 said. That's where i got mine, and good prices as well. Bought my skirt material at fishingskirts.com.

I buy mine at Sieberts. They advertise here. Great selection. Really nice variety. They have tied jigs, painted and untied, or unpainted and untied. I've been ordering from them for a few years now.

If you mean tying bucktail jigs and want weedless jigs? Try to find them without the weed guard molded in. Tie your jig up and glue the fiber guards after.

If tying on skirts it doesn't matter.
