fun fishing but lake worries
had a blast fishing last evening me and my cousin caught 53 bass in 3 and one half hrs. the biggest only about 2 lb my concern is this lake has way to many fish in it, they all were thin. this was about a 4 to 5 acre lake. I respect the fact , someone builds something to enjoy for there family, and the personal privacy aspect. they do let a few people fish, but don't want anything taken out. how do you convey to them that they have to many fish and are actually hurting there lake population and quality of fish? or with out hurting there feelings. or making them feel that you don't appreciate there kind gesture. not the first time that I have seen this. we kindly let them know that there lake was way over populated and that some should be taken out or minnows or bluegill added , as a solution. thanked them for letting us fish , even offering to catch and feliet them for them to eat. I guess long story short never forget to thank the owners ,respect there property, and bring them some to eat as a kind thank you for the privilege. i never want anyone to think that I am trying to tell them what to do, or feel like I am over stepping my boundarys. I have added a pic of one that we did catch from a different lake ,that we were allowed to fish. very thick about 5 lb.

big indiana crappie
went out for an evening of bass fishing, on one of the first cast my cousin landed this huge crappie. the plastic box is 14" the fish is 16" caught it on a 'POP R'. we ended up with 8 bass, 2 to 4 lb range before thunder storms chased us out before the good evening bite.

I was going to say bull heads usually channels have white bellies with speckals. the bullheads we use to catch were usually black in color. but I am no expert. bet it was a fun fight tho!
