Best terminal tackle storage ideas
OK, I know what I have to do now, thanks. The BM Deep is not going to cut it on the kayak, too big and hard to handle reaching behind the seat. I'm going back to the Plano 3700 deep like I was using before. I'll have the BM stored up front in the hatch.

Best terminal tackle storage ideas
I tried those from Walmart and the bands hung loose on the hooks. What am I doing wrong?

What lure did you catch your PB on?
- EWG vs Straight Shank hook for light line
Not sure where or when I picked up this rule, but I've always set my drag to 1/3 of the breaking strength of the line I'm using. If I'm using 15 lb test line I'll set my drag so that line can be pulled off the reel with 5 lbs of pressure. I use a scale to achieve this. If I need more pressure while reeling in a fish, I try increasing the angle of the rod. (usually works)- New Kayak!

- Night Fishing
Make sure you know the water you're fishing at night, running over a submerged tree/stump or boulder at night can ruin an evening of fishing. Between June and August I'd say 95% of my fishing is done at night and it never ceases to amaze me how active the wildlife becomes once the sun goes down. A concerto performed by the coyotes and wolves while a hawg blows up on your top water frog is always a bonus.- Best terminal tackle storage ideas
Do you have a link for the rubber bands?- Making Jigs- Worth It?
I've been doing that for awhile now and just recently started buying them unpainted from @Siebert Outdoors. It goes a long way occupying my time during the winter months. Problem is I never use all the jigs I paint and tie so I end up giving them to family and friends who fish. Yep, there are a few on the other side of the globe who have used and like your Dredge jigs, Mike.- Post a photo a day!
- How Are Rapala's Made
I've collected Rapala lures for years. This is my favorite, a mid to late 50s Wobbler, F13 with star foil. (rust on the hooks has since been removed)- Tell us about your kayak
- Good place to fish
No good fishing in Oklahoma, nothing but a bunch of minnows. We just sit around and play banjos all day.- Kayak Fishing Clothing
I have the older version of the NRS Boundary Boots/Shoes that I use to launch in the cooler waters during March and April. I found out today how good they were in the snow when I had to drive into town to get (rescue) my wife. I only wore wool socks inside the boots and my feet stayed dry and toasty. They are worth the coin!- Post a photo a day!

- The Challenge vs. the Enjoyment
I'll always enjoy fooling a fish into eating the fake food I throw at it. However, I'm getting to value sights like this even more, because at my age I'm not sure how many I have left. (Sunset on our local refuge.)- 6th Sense Plastics (Smell)
