Welcome to NC (my state). My take is the worker may have little knowledge on fishing in general. Seems like a lot of people gets just placed wherever in a store.

Is that even possible with something like a buzzbait?

Anyone have any good recommendations for a rod under 100$?

Thanks for all the assistance, good people. Does anyone have any spooling recommendations? Should I tie (I'm using Powerpro braid) in a hole on the spool, or just tie it to the spool? I also would like to know if I should start it with mono line or not. Thanks.

I just hope the 70 doesn't turn out to be the reel you can't find parts for. It seems like no online sites have parts for them. It's why I was wondering if there's an alternative way to go, such as brakes or a spool (with brakes, of course) that will fit the 70.

Thanks for the link, but will the brake blocks from the 200 work on the 70? I believe the 200 are red, while mine are white.

I may have to do that, but I fear being on the line for hours...

:/ But I really wanna know where to get the SVS Infinity braking system parts for the 70.

I've looked around online for extra brakes, but I can't seem to find any (just in case I later break one). Does anyone know of a site where I could purchase some? What about other Shimanos? Will any of their brakes work?
