  1. Unless you can be 100% sure water won't get in, I would leave it as is. My opinion the fluid film you used is your best bet to keep the hitch working/looking new. I have a few trailers, keep the moving parts lubed through out the year and you should have no problems down the road.
  2. From what i understand there are no supports in the way. You will have to make your way through the foam somehow for a drain. If you do it, take some pics or a video for us to check out
  3. Well, if your motor calls for 50 amps use that. If you use a larger breaker, you run the risk of frying your wiring/motor if you pull more than 50 amps. Don't use a lower amp breaker, you might be tripping it all of the time for no good reason and become frustrated with the situation. What other people get away with...that should be another thread.
  4. Nice. Are you still working on Part 2? I'd like to see that equipment in action.
  5. I noticed that mystery plate is listed at BPS.
  6. It's your boat, do what is comfortable for you. Take pics and post of your progress when you do it.
  7. I just found that. Interesting, my transom still looks good. You could always contact Tracker and see what they say.
  8. I saw that. I'll keep my Heritage for now.
  9. Just the front plate that has the plug for the trolling motor.
  10. Ha, Tracker still doesn't have the '19 Heritage listed on their web site, and on their Facebook page they show a glimpse of the boat, then you can sign up for more info. Jamieastin has the jump on them. Nice . For me, I'm ahead with the '18 model. I don't fish anyplace that is big enough I need two gas tanks. Time wise, I'm always on my trolling motor. Those fish finders won't help me anymore than what I have. The lakes I fish are too shallow to see any fish below me. Something with side scan would be what I'm looking for. I got my spare for around $100, not that big of a deal and a lot cheaper than what BPS/Tracker wants . The stainless prop on the other hand is nice. My aluminum prop looks a little worse for wear. It had a rough rookie season. I'm glad Tracker is still building the Heritage. We should have no problem getting parts during our warranty period. It will be interesting to see how well they sell with the price increase .
  11. It's my understanding that it's for a speedometer. I saw that yesterday, the Bass Tracker Classic they are calling it. Waiting to see the exact specs.
  12. Nice. Post pics when you start your install. Thanks.
  13. This is the only other pic I have. You might try Facebook. They have a Tracker Heritage group with a lot of modifications going on there. It can get a little nuts there at times .
  14. Here you go. Roll this out of the truck to the shore and your ready to go. It should pack away at the condo just fine. https://www.ultraskiff.com/
  15. Recessed trays are simple to put in. The traumatic part is cutting into your deck. A search of some videos will show you how. I saved this pic from somewhere but don't remember where I got it.
  16. Welcome to the club! I don't remember where, but I saw somewhere someone had put a tray in no problem. It's something that I'm planning to do. I have found it uncomfortable running the trolling motor while standing.
  17. It's been kind of quite here lately. When I ordered my spare transom saver I got a compass. I just installed that on the top center of the console. When I made my order to West Marine I only had the transom saver and the compass. I was a little concerned about this order, and was very surprised when TWO packages arrived. The transom saver and the compass shipped separately. I know if I had ordered the two with anyone else they would have dropped the compass in the same box as the transom saver, which would have pounded the compass all the way to my house. Two thumbs up to West Marine .
  18. Just finished the jaime mod to my gas tank. My hose was still on pretty good, but I'm not going to wait for it to fall off for such a simple fix. Anyone doing this your going to have to unscrew the nipple from the assembly to get to the last screw. It takes maybe a total of ten minutes if you take your time.
  19. When all else fails, and it often does, I throw a Rapala Ultra Light Minnow size 4/Chrome. Everything hits this. https://amazon.com/dp/B005OSYWM0/?coliid=I48BAMG1BOMQE&colid=39ILC0QR4E09L&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1&psc=1
  20. I just checked my transom saver and it still looks good. Used but good. West Marine has the saver now for $9.55, I jumped on that. I also checked my tail lights, and they are still tight. I put some loc-tite on the threads. So far so good.
