One of those mfrs hit my boat the other day when I was launching. There is about a 50 yard circumference around the boat ramp/dock that is NO WAKE. This A'hole in a ski was trying to tow his friends, who were on a raft, off from the dock. The dumb A'hole friends get the raft and rope caught in the dock and dumb A'hole jet skiier keeps revving the throttle trying to unsnag them and runs into the side of my boat as I'm backing off the trailer. I tell ya what, I am not going out of my way to avoid these idiots any longer. I'm idling through a no wake zone in a tourny yesterday when two of them came hauling butt towards me and 3 other tournament boaters and sprayed us. Enough is enough. Would it really be my fault if they happen to run into 100 pound power pro while trolling?

I was napping at the computer when someone rang the doorbell, causing the the dog to bark which caused me to darn near mess my drawers. I jumped up yelling "who therang the doorbell. I opened the door and found that all to familiar cardboard tube propped against the wall. I forgot all about ordering this rod. It's a 7'2 GLX BCR853 Worm and Jig rod with 100% titanium recoil guides. I took it out after dinner and caught 3 dinks but that's ok. This rod is SWEEEEET and so sensitive that you can feel a minnow fart from 40 yards out.

I have the MBR843. I was using it with my Abu Premier, #12 mono. I now have my Chronarc 50 mg on it with #12 mono. I use it with Flukes or small plastics like 6" worms and 1/8 ounce weight or lighter. Mostly Flukes though. P.S I have a mint MBR844 IMX I will trade for another 843.

10-12 pound Yo-Zuri ultra Soft. Fluorocarbon is too expensive to use for cranks IMO. Don't like braid for cranks because no stretch.

I installed a wet bar in one of the rod lockers, a 23" LCD flat screen in the other and converted the live well into a foot massager.

The only place I have found to get deals on Loomis is E-Bay or on here. Forget about deals at the retail stores, I haven't found any. Actually I did. I was getting 5-10% off until the guy got fired. But maybe with your military i.d you can get discounts. In fact, being in active duty with the war should get you FREE gear. Atleast the gear you WANT without having to worry about affording it.

About the lake: 75 acres. Max depth I found so far was 52'. Water visibility is EXTREMELY clear. About 20' depending on the sun position. I finally got permission to fish this lake after about 4 months of trying to locate the owner. So today I made my 1st outing on the lake and took my Uncle with me. We got to the lake at 10:30 am because the owner couldn't let us in any earlier. We got done fishing at 7:16pm. We caught 141 bass, averaging 2-5 pounds. Most all were caught on 7.5" and 10" June Bug Culprit worms. Caught a few on cranks and topwater. NO SENKOS! I managed a couple about 2.25 pounds on my U/L with 4 pound mono using a grub. My uncle has no clue on photography. We got these at the same time. Mine was bigger though. \ This one hit in about 23' of water. 10" Culprit worm.
