If you look on Youtube, there have been guys that have hung a 5hp on even the 8ft model. All you really got to do is reinforce the transom with some plywood/metal plates and you'd be good to go. If I'm not mistaken, I saw one video with a 9.9hp on the 10ft.
You got yourself a fishing machine. I have the 8ft model and I can put it in ponds/creeks that I can't put my big boat in. Great little boat
Thanks for the kind words! Perfect all around boat. I use it in the coastal bays down here in Texas for trout and redfish one week, then the next it goes up to Sam Rayburn or Toledo Bend for bass.

Texas rig a watermelon red or pumpkin seed trick worm with a bullet weight, cast toward the shore/ cover and work it back. If nothing else gets them to bite, those bass can't hesitate a texas rigged trick worm
