Cotton Bowl Pick
Who do you like to win, the "Johnny Football" led Aggies or the Jones led Sooner? This should be an interesting game tonight with some high scoring, the over/under is 72 points and the spread is only 3 favoring the Aggies. I think A&M should beat the Sooners easily, but that is solely based on my watching the Sooner get owned by the team with the shiny gold helmets Plus, A&M beat Alabama as David beat Goliath! My pick is A&M 33, Sooners 24

Loxahatchee
Yeah wind was blowing, to deep to power pole down, so it was powerfishing at its best!

Loxahatchee
Was finally able to sneek away early this morning for some post front action, yes POST FRONT action! Many of us would rather sleep in when it comes to fishing after a cold front especially here in S. FLA , but today a great pattern developed fishing the main canal drop parrallel to submerged vegetation breaks with spinnerbaits and jerkbaits. The two pictured below came back to back!

Power Pole? Jack Plate? New Prop? Batteries?
I can attest to the fact the Rich is not only a honest and knowledgable businessman, but is very knowledgable about setting up bass and peformance boats for optimum operation so whether it be prop choice, pad to prop distance, or powerpole configurations he is the MAN!

Another Big O Trip.....
When we settle into our normal winter pattern and it stops raining like it is the summer/fall, and water drops into the 14ft range then it will be HAWG ON time. If you want some MONSTERS now, bust out the shiners.

Hawgtech Hawg Handle
Thank you gentlemen! As Mike has already explained our handle was designed after evaluating AND USING other competitors' aftermarket handles and major reel manufactures' higher tiered reels. What Mike and I were able to accomplish was a result of the testing existing designs and brainstorming on how to make them better. In my opinion you will not find a better made handle, from the slightly thicker carbon fiber material, to the comfortable ergonomic cork grips, and the dual ball bearing supported knob spindles. It is engineered to perform not only for pulling HAWGS out of the SLOP, but many other applications where the angler needs that extra leverage without the added flex usually associated with it while still providing a secure and comfortable feel that only REAL cork knobs can offer, not compressed cork, foam, or hardened rubber grips that some domestic and Japanese manufactures offer. The ultimate proof of our design is what not only John says, but also the tremendous amount of positive feedback we have received from anglers that depend on their equipment’s performance for a living. Again, thanks for your support and if you have not tried one, buy one and USE IT, it’s "beyond the bling!"

Bcs Bowls And Others
Good thing we already had a National Championship game IMO. ND is wishing for an upset, but if they beat Bama the Mayan calendar may not be wrong! The only BCS bowl game worth watching other than the vetting of ND against a top caliber opponent is Kansas State vs Oregon, that should be fun. The only other bowl game that looks interesting and its not even a BCS game is the Chic-Fil-A Bowl featuring Clemson and LSU. What is your take on the BCS bowl games or other bowl games?

Help With The Big O
On the North end in the city of Okeechobee you have a chain hotels with some pretty good grub around them. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lake Okeechobee 3101 U.S. 441 Okeechobee, FL 34974 (863) 357-3529 From there you can trailer boat within 15 minutes of pretty much to the entire North or East Side ramps depending on wind direction. I like launching out of J&S and Henry Creek for the East side, or you can launch in Front of the Texaco station ramp on the other side if the Dike, since water is so high. You can also launch out of Okee-Tantie/Scott Driver Park, the nicest launch ramp facilities on the entire Lake. Send me an Email and I can send you some GPS coordinates for some spots I like.

Tough Days On Big O
I was out yesterday fishing some structures that hold some warmth and the bass were aggressively chasing bait-fish, but not my lures! We ended up only catching about 12lbs for a best five, but one was a nice fat 5-2, that hit a lipless cranked through a bait-fish bust. Water temps varied by 4 degrees in certain areas!
