Cable Save 'R For Terrova Motor
My boat is a 16 ft Riverhawk Pro Caster Deluxe. I love my boat. The motor is a 15 HP and will go 22 MPH. You can put a 20 HP on there and go up to 28 MPH. I have a little device I use in it's place for electric only lakes. When I do that, my Terrova will hit 4 MPH. I fish reservoirs, rivers, and Lake Lanier right out there with the bass boats. Very versatile little boat. Highly recommend.

Cable Save 'R For Terrova Motor
I wanted to follow up on this in case it helps someone. I purchased a Cable Sav'R for $119.00. The price is a little high and I am sure some of you more handy folks will say you could do a DIY project for less. I'm not that handy. For me, this appears to solve a persistent problem. If you have an externally mounted transducer on a Terrova iPilot, this may be worth a look.

Broken treble hook
I have a question. I broke one of the three trebles on the rear on my Megabass Pop x today. I have others and this one particular one is beat up, but it has caught so many fish, I just throwing this it. The hooks are very small and hard to replace. Would you just keep using it as is or order a new feathered treble from Megabass and somehow get it on there?

Terrova IPilot problems
I ordered one of the Cable Savr's for Terrova motors. I will keep everyone posted on how it works out.

Cable Save 'R For Terrova Motor
Anybody use these? I would love to manage all the slack cable for my transducer wire. $119.00 seems steep, but if it fixes the problem (and keeps the wire from getting nicked), I would order one.

Managing slack in cable for Minn Kota Terrova I Pilot
I am a struggling to find a way to manage the slack line on my Terrova. It requires a good bit for all the rotation on spot lock and it can't be zip tied to the shaft like most trolling motors. I have seen where people run it up the grove on the shaft. My local authorized service center highly advised against that. He also said these motors weren't designed to have external transducers although I doubt many people use the built in USB one because it is sonar only. He said the best thing he had seen was an after market piece that mounted to the shaft and allowed the cable to pass through. It would have to slide up and down freely. He didn't know the name or where to find it. I can picture in my head what it looks like. Any ideas?

Terrova IPilot problems
Has anyone else had difficulty with this product? Mine is freezing up and get stuck on the speed of 8 and won't turn right or left. Once it did that and would only go in circles. It looks like I'm gonna have to remove the trolling motor, take it in for service. It is only six months old. From what I see online, it seems like this is a recurring problem.

Megabass Vision 110 or Lucky Craft Pointer
I have to confess. I have some jerk baits, but do not enjoy fishing them and have had limited success. I do need to get better at this technique. If you could only have one jerk bait to fish, which one would it be? Your go-to color would be nice.

Megabass deal
I went to Mike's site and loaded up the cart with PopMax's and Pop x's, but I didn't see a place for the discount code. Should I get a Grand Siglett to add to the mix?

Pleuger Supreme reels
I use Shimano Stradic ci4 spinning reels and love them. I have used Plueger Supreme reels before and thought they were pretty good, but the reviews are the latest models aren't that great. I was goi g to pick one up for for a set up for my teenage son (who doesn't go with me all that much). Anybody have experience with the new Supremes?
- What technique catches you the most fish?

Megabass Grand Siglett
My favorite topwaters are the Megabass PopMax and Pop x (never should have tried he good stuff). I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Grand Siglett.

Shimano Aldebaran
The Metanium doesn't seem as smooth as it should be. My other Chronarch MGL's seems smoother.

Favorite topwater?
The Megabass PopMax and Pop x. They catch tons of fish and are fun to fish.

Top water line
What is the best line for throwing top water baits (Sammy's, Pop Max, etc) on a baitcaster?
-
Shimano Aldebaran
Does anyone have experience with this reel? I'm a Shimano guy. I have some of the new Chronarch MGL's and I really like them. I have been disappointed with my Metanium MGL. It may have a new home soon. This would be paired with an NRX and is my jig and worm rod. I am concerned that this might not be sturdy enough for 3/8-1/2 ounce jigs. Am I wrong?

Best bass reel on the market!
Shimano Metanium or Chronarch MGL (better value) for baitcasters and the new Shimano Stradic for spinning.

G. Loomis NRX is it worth it
- G. Loomis NRX is it worth it
They are worth it for bottom contact baits like jigs and worms. I only have one NRX, but I find myself looking for excuses to use that rod. I love it for jig fishing. If you are going to splurge on anything in life, this is probably a good place to do it.- Question for the megabass guys.
What is go to color in the Megabass Giant Dog-X?- Megabass Pop X
The Megabass poppers are definitely worth it. You don't have to pay retail. You can pick them up for $13-15 on sale. You can get them at Dick's Sporting Goods right now. I have never caught much on a Pop-R, but fish crush these things (the smaller Pop X and the Pop Max).- Cranking rod or M or MH fast rod for Topwater
What is the better rod for throwing 1/2, 5/8 ounce Sammys, Gunfish, etc ? Do you any specific recommendations?- Best casting 30 lb braid for throwing Topwater
I use 832 on my jig and worm setups. I assumed that this braid sinks more than others (which I want for that technique). Does it sink when fishing Topwater?- Best casting 30 lb braid for throwing Topwater
What if your favorite 30 lb braid for throwing Topwater (Sammy's, Gunfish, etc) on a baitcaster?- Loomis GLX MBR 842C
Would this be a good Topwater rod for throwing Sammys, Gunfish, etc? I would use it for other techniques as well. - G. Loomis NRX is it worth it
