You will want to head down river toward Holiday Island. ( Appx 12 miles ) The bank behind the island ( left side of the river ) is hot and I'm talking 50+ bass a day. Catching them on Green Pumpkin Sinko's wacky style. If you have never fished the trees on Chowan let me be the first to let you know that the Snakes are very friendly, they like to get in the boat with you. ;D Don't be afraid to go on back in the Cypress trees that's where they're at. I would like to say that it was a pleasure meeting Burley and his wife. Couldn't have asked to fish with two nicer people. I enjoyed the fishing trip just wished we had a few more days for Burley to catch up. I knew from watching him that it wouldn't be long before he caught on to river fishing. ;D Burley the door is open anytime you want.
