Help me grow some hogs!!
start by buying yourself a simple ph test kit, over a few days preferably sunny test the ph at least 3 times a day at the same time (first light, midday and nightfall) for a few days and see if there are major fluctuations in ph which directly relates to dissolved oxygen/carbon dioxide levels. the presence of large numbers of frogs is usually a good indicator of water quality. don't clean it the vegetation provides oxygen to the water and removes excessive nutrients. keep the bass numbers low and make sure they have ample food supply

BAROMETRIC PRESSURE
The theory as I understand is the effect of barometric pressure on the fishes swim bladder, in Australian freshwater lakes there is definitely a connection between a falling barometer and lockjaw a low but stable barometer is okay and a high barometer being preferable

Snakes on a Boat!!
Had a 6 foot eastern brown snake (2nd deadliest snake worldwide) try and join me in my boat a few years back, a paddle to his head changed his mind but had he got in I was getting out We also have a non venomous tree snake that has a habit of randomly dropping out of trees to the ground which can lead to a hell of a fright
