  1. Dude, what took ya so long? The last time I watched a game, Wade Boggs was still on 3rd base as a red sock. Bunch of WAY overpaid crybabies.
  2. Get a Daiwa Tierra off ebay for $90. It will blow any cheap Shimano away.
  3. And people wonder why I carry a switchblade. Ya never know when a chimp might attack.
  4. The spider pic was the best. I laughed so hard. Especially when he realized that the spider had seven legs.
  5. Zeebaas... if money were no object. $815 for a reel is slightly beyond my budget.
  6. Buy the parabolic rod for cranks.
  7. Pay them 72 cents in pennies. Better yet, cut all the pennies in half first.
  8. Ooooh, fall migration. See you there. Bring a real rod, gonna need Korkers too! :D
  9. I bench around 60.
  10. I would put the Human Species above any fish... just me.
  11. I will never buy another product from T.T. again. Customer service is the pits. Plenty of other companies out there.
  12. It was buddy Ricks boat, all his plan. The plates that slide under are made of Delrin. The holes are tapped and threaded. It worked out perfectly.
  13. A Van Staal reel for around $250. :-? Or, to have Penn start making the 704z/706z again.
  14. At the beginning of last year I would have laughed at this statement. However, I had two Gammy's break, and saw someone else have one snap in half in my boat. Seriously considering another brand for 2009.
  15. Still a good spot. Just hard to reach from shore!
  16. I believe Glenn shut down the BR store a while ago.
  17. YES!!! You are now officially a NITRO JUNKIE! I saw a grown man in Joliet fall down on the ground when Kenny Bernstein whacked the throttle in the pits. It is the loudest sound on the planet I think. I sat less than 10' away eating a fine BBQ chicken lunch as Ron Capps warmed up his funny car. We had hospitality passes. No gas masks, no ear plugs.... Ron came over afterwards and says to me and my friend Jason with a big smile: "You guys are either die hard, or just dumb" I think both maybe.
  18. I went to my first NHRA race a couple years ago. A buddy of mine had been going every year for a long time and he was all over my butt every year to tag along. Reluctantly I went. Probably one of the top 10 coolest experiences in my life. Just no words to describe it. I plan on going back every year. Once you've experienced a dragster or funny car seating the clutch in the pits, you'll never be the same. :D
  19. You don't HAVE to be there at a NASCAR race.... but you DO have to be at an NHRA event. Something about Funny Cars makes me giddy like a little girl.
  20. Making new friends and fishing with them.
  21. Agree 110%
  22. Found a great review! http://www.stripersonline.com/surftalk/showthread.php?t=638460
  23. One of my goals (before I buy the farm) is to hit Montauk Pt.
